Photopass question

Hi. I have a question about Photopass. Are you able to put the pictures taken on rides (Ex: Buzz Lightyear, Test Track) or at character meals (Chef Mickey's) on your Photopass? How do you do this? A friend just came back from Disney and said that this is possible. Anyone have any experiences with this? It is a tradition that we buy the Chef Mickey's picture every year and do not want to do that if it can be included on the Photopass CD. I searched the archives to see if there were any previous posts about this and did not find any.

The only ride that is equipped with PhotoPass gear is Test Track in Epcot. All other ride photos are the old-fashioned type that you have to buy from the counter at the ride exit.

There are photo packages available at several character meals. If you buy the photo package, they will also swipe your PhotoPass card and the meal photos wil be added to your PhotoPass account, but you cannot get your PhotoPass card swiped unless you buy the package.
