It was soooo good! We had the clam chowder, which was excellent. We also had Quahogs (stuffed baked clams), which were very good.
DH had a half pound burger, which he was only able to finish half of.
I had shrimp scampi over linguine. There was a shrimp in every bite.
We wanted desert...they were all homemade, but were too stuffed!
We had a seat with a veiw of everything coming out of the kitchen. Everything looked so good that I'll have to go back many times to try everything that I'd like to.
The bill for 2 soft drinks, 3 appitizers, and 2 entres was $52 before tip.:thumbsup2

It's not the kind of place where you need a reservation unless you are going at a very busy time or have an exceptionally large party.

Kevin,
It's great to have you back posting!! :thumbsup2
Does the Town Tavern serve fried clams? I think that this is the place that Bob told me had the best fried clams outside of Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

We enjoy eating there. The is something for everyone, food very good, & prices reasonable. It's one of our favorite places to go. Brian, his girlfriend, & her aunt were there Sat night too! I had taken the aunt all over WDW-3 parks in one day- so I bowed out & stayed home. (It was fun, she'd never been to WDW).

Celebration Town Tavern does have awesome fried clams.
I believe the place Bob was talking about was Boston's Fish House. Boston's is on Aloma Ave. in Winter Park and should not be confused with Boston Lobster Feast.
That's not to say that Boston Lobster Feast is bad....it's just that they are very different restaurants.
Celebration Town Taven is just one of the places we all love.
Give it a try.
And thanks for the nice words. It's good to be back.

I put this on my list of things to do during my 2 week Xmas stay. I keep saying I have to get to Celebration, but we have yet to make it. Where else should I go on my day in Celebration?
