Hi,
Has anyone tried a Fort Wilderness cabin? Where's the best place for price info? Are they good value for money? Any help appreciated.
Andy.

Hi ace, we stayed at the cabins in Nov 2000, we liked it so much we will be staying there again for a few days during our christmas trip this year, this is a really good link for info on the cabins and FW in general http://home.hiwaay.net/~jlspence/faq_fw.htm there is also a Fort Wilderness message board on the main site you might want to have a gander at http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=24 :)

We are going to the cabins in FW in mid-July. We have teenagers aged 14 & 16 and found that the cabins guaranteed us some privacy as we could not afford 2 separate rooms in other resorts such as ASM. We did have separate rooms in Fuerteventura at Christmas which was great bathroom wise but could not afford it at Disney!
The kitchen appealed to us as well for snacks and breakfasts so some could eat and others shower to save time in the mornings.
I also liked the idea of being a little away from the hustle and bustle and we have only recently given up trailer tenting so a campsite area is familiar to us.
On the down side since we booked River Country has been closed for this season but there are still 2 other water parks.
I will post a trip review on return.
