Great photos as always, we were there this weekend and by any chance were you wearing a blue shirt on Saturday? I saw a guy at the outpost Saturday morning wearing a blue shirt taking alot of photos and I thought of you. :worship:

Well, if that guy was unfortunate enough to look like this, it was me. Were you sitting on the porch there? We came over and had breakfast then took a tour of the new construction. My wife brought a camera and said she was going to spend the day taking pictures like I always do. She took 12 photos. I took 330, at FW, AK, and MK.:lmao:

I didn't realize that the pedestrian bridge was fenced off for this construction project. I wouldn't want to be camping on the 600 loop while this is going on.

Yeah they have taken over the entrance to 600 with the project. I am not sure how many sites have been blocked off behind the fence, but they took several, and made a temporary entrance into the loop.

Speaking of bridges, the bridge from the 1500 loop bus stop is also blocked off with the same type fence from access to the Campfire or tennis courts, and just spills out into the open area with the volleyball?????:confused3

From the pictures I've seen it looks like 600 is now closed. It was open the first couple of days of the construction, but has now closed.

It was open and what they didn't have blocked off was full as of Saturday morning. This photo was taken while walking towards the Meadow from the Settlement. The 600 loop is on the left . From all the flags, it does appear that something more is going to happen here.

Are you saying that the old parts of 600 are reopened now? Did they complete the conversion to Premium already? We saw photos last week of it under way.

Yes this at the pool playground looking toward 1500. I don't know why they had this fenced off this way. If you crossed the bridge coming from 1500 you could only get to this area where all these people are playing. The playground was accessible by coming around by the tennis courts by way of the road that runs back to the Campfire. You can also climb over the rail on the bridge that goes toward the Meadow store, and get to the playground. Is that clear as mud???

That was probably me. I didn't sneak in, I boldly went right in and demanded they tell this forum what they thought they were doing.....well, OK, I acted like I took a wrong turn and while I was U turning out just happened to take a couple of photos. Thus the corner of the gate in the photo.

Did you mean this....and it was at this time it closed. But, the busy season is coming so, you want a site, just bring earmuffs.

Great pics Tony. Looks like you had beautiful weather too.

I don't know how others feel, but this breaks my heart. That was such a beautiful and peaceful area. One of my fondest memories of the early Fort was walking by this spot early one morning,(I don't even think the Meadows Trading Post was there yet) and there must have been 8 deer around the pond. What a view.

Oh well......I guess it's progress.:confused3

I overheard the driver tell someone it was the bus for the Studios. I don't know if this was another example of the GPS system working it's magic or what.
