Welcome to another inkedupmomma pre-trip report.

I'll do the whole re-intro thing in this section, but if you feel up to it please feel free to read my very 1st PTR and my very first Tr! Links posted in my siggy!!

I hope to have lots of fun and great readers! I totally depend on your awesome input!

Ok,I said I would post this in the first post, but this is fine.

Although most of you know me already I am hoping for some new readers!! So pass the word along, inkedupmomma is back!

The cast and crew....the who

Me- Jenn, 27 years old for another 2 weeks, mom to 2 wonderful kids, and fiance to a pretty amazing man. I enjoy long walks on the beach...Oh wait no I enjoy tattoo's, baking awesome cakes,scrapbooking,retro inspired punk rock needlepoint,Disney World!! I am a nanny, and currently going to the local community college and taking one class. I also just joined a gym and hope to lose some lbs. before this trip!! I suppose this might be a swell spot for that info as well, I need support fer reals! Also, I say some ridiculous things. I know how uneducated I sound sometimes, but I assure you it is all in fun and for entertainment purposes:thumbsup2

John-37, will be turning 38 on the trip:bday: He is my fiance, my daughter's father although not biological, and my sons biological dad. He is an auto mechanic and all around techy kinda guy.We met in 2003 and have been best friends ever since!! He is slowly but surely becoming a big disney fan. He is not obsessed by any means, but has been asking more questions than usual:woohoo: The reason our next trip is happening is because he so wonderfully agreed to the bounceback offer!! That's when I knew he was starting to fall into the magic that we all love :banana:

Kayla-8 going on 18. She is my perfect little princess! She lovessss Disney and is my partner in crime! Daddy just can't resist those big brown eyes..ok he can..but he can't stand our combined whining!:rotfl: She will be starting 3rd grade when we leave for our next trip and I am a bit stressed about that...I suppose I won't stress until we are closer to the date of the trip lol.
Kayla says she is mostly over the princesses, but she still lights up with joy when she sees any character! Currently like most 8 year olds she is into Hannah Montana,Jo Bros,Demi, Selena Gomez, and most recently she has fallen in love with Tinkerbell. Below are 3 pics of her, one from our disney trip in 2005, one from our most recent trip this past Sept 2008, and one of her today..well a couple days ago, but you know what I mean lol

Jack-2 and full of energy!!! He is seriously chock full of life 24/7 and keep going and going and going and going and... you get the point! So many people said we were crazy for going to Disney with such a young child, and they turned out to be dead wrong! He lovedddd it! He still talks about it! I am super excited for our next trip, I think he will really really love it now that he is getting older and can talk so so so much better..oh and did I mention he is potty trained now! Woo hoo for no diapers in disney! [although he is not night time trained yet...hopefully 7 months from now he will be!] Some of his Disney jams are Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse,Peter Pan and of course Cars. His absolute favorite is Jack and Sally though!! He lives for Nightmare Before Christmas! It is actually a family favorite..but most of you know that! Needles to say he is named after my favorite character![Although his real name is John after his dad... don't ask us why we did that when we never had any intention of calling him that]

What- why a trip to Disney of course!!

Where- CSR!!!!!!!:woohoo: Yes yall we are upgrading!! Our last 2 trips have been at a value[movies/music], but this time around we have decided to upgrade! I am thrilled to death!! Ideally I would have loved the poly or akl, but csr is the best for the money we have! *Please note if this trip looks in any way shape or form like it may not happen, csr will be the first thing to go!

When- September 12-21 2009!!!

Why you ask?? Because we got a bounceback offer :cool1: That and I had felt if we didn't rebook right there and then my life would rip apart at the seams. John could see that and agreed we could go back...like I said earlier I think he is secretly becoming a Disney World lover:lovestruc

So there you have the method behind the madness..well at least a sneak peek at it!

Up next, ADR choices, and park days. Sophia and I need to start coordinating so we can do lots of fun stuff together!!

I'm so glad that we're staying at the same resort this trip. I'm so excited. CSR is the only moderate that we have not tried in the past, but it will be fun. However, IF you change resorts, will will probably tag along with ya and do the same...no matter what you choose. That's all part of the master plan of FUN! We loved AKL last year but our room was in "east Jesus" as Joe would say and the walk just about killed us after a long day at the parks. Yeah, I know, I should not complain about a savannah view but it was horrible at the end of the day. Needless to say, that was our third and probably final stay at AKL. :mad:

So, I can't wait to see your dining selections. Hopefully we have finally figured out our stuff and are on the same page now. :idea:

So, are ya thinking of bringing the stroller again this year? ;) I've never been to Disney with a stroller and last year I learned just how handy it can be for holding stuff. :lmao: ;) I think we jammed all of our crap in there at MNSSHP. It was awful carrying the freaking camera all over the place. Yay for the stroller. :thumbsup2 All kidding aside, I cannot get over how you were able to maneuver the double stroller through the parks. It was amazing if you ask me!!!

I am beyond stoked to stay at CSR!! You don't even know! I'm gonna feel all fancy and shiz! But agreed, no matter where we stay we will have a blast! Oh hells yes we are bringing the stroller!! kayla is super tiny andthose lil legs can only go so fast for so long!! I kow she will be almost 9 [:sick: I got sick just writing that] but she is the size of a 3 year old lol..she will need a rest, and i agree i like having the thing to carry stuff!! especially that heavy camera equipment of yours!! If we didn't have our van I would think twice about it, but we will so it is def coming!

Thank you!! she is quite the fashionista!! Old navy by the way...the top half anyways, target for the bottom half! i think I paid for all those pieces less than $6.00!!!!

Yes I love that he is lovin the Disney!! I hope jack is extra in love with Disney this time, that will for sure seal the deal for the Feb 2011 trip.. not that he could say no..it will be my 30th...ugh

I think I have it... No I am not joking,wish I was!! I can not for the life of me focus anymore. I have so much going on in this head that even the simplest of tasks seems like someone just asked me to figure out the cure for cancer!! With that said, I am having a heck of a time trying to focus on ADR's and park days!! I look at what I have written down and it might as well be in chinese!!!

this post is dedicated to my attempt in making dining decisions, poor Sophia has been so patient!! Also, keep in mind again, we are on the DXDP.
Breakfast
*CRT- have done dinner there 3x but never breakfast, dying to get into the parks bright and early!!Last day [Monday sept 21]
*Tuskerhouse- We have never eaten here for any meal and from what I can tell it is amazing!! Completely looking forward to this one!! Also, I want early ADR's to see the park pretty empty :) Day 3[Tuesday Sept 15]
*Boma- This breakfast was the bombbbbbbb..John and kayla said this is a must, I agree!Day 2[Monday Sept 14]
*Chef Mickey's- We all loved it! It was just so fun, and great way to start the day!Day 8[Sunday Sept 20,John's bday!]
*Maya Grill- It is at CSR and makes life easier.. don't know too much about it though ;/ Not a definite, but on there for nowDay 1[Sunday Sept 13]
*Kona- YUMMMMMMM.. and I will try the Tonga Toast this year!!Day5 [Thursday Sept 17]
*Ohana- Ok, we did not like dinner here at all, but I love the idea of having breakfast with Lilo and Stich..and breakfast isn't that hard to mess up...RIGHT?? again, I may be easily swayed out of this one Day 7[ Saturday Sept 19]
*1900 park fare- I loveddd it here!! The food was good, but most importantly Alice was there!! Day 6 [Friday Sept 18]
*Akeshurs- Another reason to get to the parks early :) Plus although we did not dig dinner, breakfast ruled on our last trip!Day 4 [Wednesday Sept 16]

Lunch
*Earl of sandwich- because omg omg omg I lovedddd it here!![ our day of arrival, which is Sept 12/saturday. this will be oop and most likely end up being a dinner. I'm thinking positive and wishing early thoughst for that day]
*yak and Yeti- This may not be a keeper, but I would really like to try it..[this would be on day 3, again not sure because we have breakfast at tuskerhouse thi day.. I think we can do both though!]
*50's Prime Time cafe- Loved it here last year..although I did not love *my* dish lol and jack was a total bad child that afternoon. Hoping to go back and try it right this time![whatever day we do mama melrose]

Dinner
*Biergarten- This is a def maybe, don't have much of an opinion yet.
*Crt x2- Oh yes we are going there twice. why?? Because I loveeeeeee it!! We will go our first night as usual, and then again on the night of MNSSHP as to get into the park early and be ready to go!
*Mama Melrose- Hopefully fantasmic package. this may change if we can not get the Fantasmic package!
*Le Cellier- We did not get to try it last time, and I just need to after all the good the bad the ugly I have read... I would like to make up my own mind!
*Coral Reef- Although the diver and menus are gone, we liked it here. I think Jack will really love it next trip. John also loves all things ocean related so...
*Chefs de france- Not a definitie. But we had it on our list last trip and decided not to, now i think we should.
*Narcooses- Aain, this was on our list trip, but we canceled last time and went to MNSSHP with Sophia instead:cool1: I think it deserves a second first chance.
*HDDMR- Do I think it is worth 2 credits?/ not so much. but it was so cute. We are going to go our last night, which will be John's bday!! So that should make it realllly swell!!!


What is really funny is the fact that I am on a "diet" right now. I have been working out, eating somewhat better, and drinking tons of water. i want to drop mega weight!! I hatedddddddd being so overweight and hot in Disney!! With that said, I have every intention of sticking with the DXDP!! I keep toying with the idea of doing the regular plan, but I would hate not having every detail planned!! I also hate CS!!! Once I did the math it just made more sense to do DXDP again, especially since we re going during free dining! So those are my choices.. not sure the days will stick like that at all though. Not knowing the park hours is really really screwing me up!!

so what do you all think???:idea:

I think everything sounds perfect! But I agree...the darn hours not being up is not good. I hate the new calendar! The old one was so nice. Why they messed with PERFECTION I'll never know! It does suck being fat at Disney...but I don't know how YOU'D know! :hug:

Must have been affordable back then! :rotfl2: What was it, like $12.99? I know in the past 5 years the character breakfast has went way way way up! $28.99 for PSB! :scared1: Before long I wont be able to afford the dining plan. :scared:

So I'm gonna spend the morning comparing our dates to try and solve the mystery of what ADR's we're making together. :lmao: .......and YAY for Tonga Toast! OMG, I love that stuff....almost as much as zebra domes.

Not having the stupid park schedules is starting to make me mad. :headache: I really want to get my days set and it is hard to do without knowing certain stuff.

Next we gotta get busy on whole shirt thing we talked about yesterday. I've got in mind too so maybe we'll have two matchy matchy shirts. OMG, I can't believe I just said that......

Idk what the old PSB prices were??? Once i'm on the plan I don't look at it really.

When I first went to PSB it was less less than $20! In '06. :sad2: I'm just sayin'...if they keep raising prices like this people won't be able to afford it in 5 years. The ddp keeps going up too & they offer less. In '06 the kids got adult apps and desserts too plus the tip was included! Did you know that!? It changed at the end of that year to how it is now with the all in one kids meals but that first time we did it...OMG! It was insane! Then it was 36.99 (or 35.99?) and now it's up to 39.99 and no longer includes an app or tip and the kids meals blow! I know they do this to make the DDP sound enticing but enough is enough. They're getting as bad as the oil companies. Makes you and me have to resort to deluxe to get what we need. :lmao: I'm going to nickname you my CRT friend. :laughing:

Well you guys, I had a moment of clarity last night and was able to come up with a rough initnerary for our trip!!!! Exciting I know!! Are you on the edge of your seat??

Day of Arrival Saturday, September 12,2009 [and a little background, just to spice things up]
This day is an add on, and will be room only. This means no DXDP or park tix just yet:scared: But that is ok, because this day wasn't supposed to happen at all!! Originally we were supposed to leave on Saturday the 12th after John got off of work, which would have put us at Disney on Sunday around 2pm[this is what we did last year]. This was fine, but last year we were soooo tired after that drive it was really a waste of a day, and took us a couple days to get over that tired state. John has decided to take off of work now on Saturday and we will leave Friday the 11th after he gets home from work:lovestruc I am assuming we will get to disney right around 3 or 4pm[plan on stopping for shut eye along the way this time! Even if it is just an hour, it will help!] Since this is an add on, we will book at POP. I have always wanted to check it out here anyway, so it works perfect! Once we are all checked in we will head to our room, relax a bit, and then head to DTD and hopefully meet up with Sophia and Joe!! Once in DTD we will be eating at the AWESOME Earl of Sandwich! Then getting dessert at T-Rex. I think Jack will LOVE the atmosphere, but I don't think we would love the food since we really do not like Rainforest Cafe. Dessert is a safe bet and we get to see how cool it is in there! Not to mention it will be a heck of a lot cheaper than eating a full meal there!! That place is priceyyyyy!!!
After all that I am pretty sure we will be tired as all get out, so we will most likely head back to POP and swim for a bit... if I can keep from shopping that is!! I just have to remind myself that we WILL be going back there! Pace yourself Jenn!!
This brings us to DAY 2,] but kinda sorta technically day 1] Sunday, September 13,2009
We will wake up nice and early this morning, check out of POP and run like the dickens over to CSR[:banana: ]
I'm assuming our room will not be ready, but we will check in and then feast at Maya Grille. At this point our DXDP will have kicked in, so it should all be good! 1 credit down! I really do not know what to expect from the resort, so it is kind of hard to plan this day. I am hoping that after breakfastthey will have a room for us[wishful thinking I know, but after the way they treated us last year, they owe us!! I'll make sure to remind them of that as well!]
The plan is to swim for a bit after breakfast and then head to Mk!!!!It is always our first night tradition! Although coming in a day early kind of throws that off... but that day doesn't count! Did I mention Sophia and Joe are staying at CSR as well?? well they are! I'm assuming at some point befpre they head out to MK that we will see them. If not it's ok because we will have ADR's together that night at CRT!!!! CRT is another first night tradition for us as well!! It will be fun to have friends there with us!

1+2=3, Day 3 Monday September 14,2009

Well this day is planned, but nothing is written in stone as we do not know show/parade schedules and what not :mad: So this is how it is going to go if we have our way! Breakfast at Boma with Sophia and Joe! Then head over to DHS. Do the things you do at DHS. We are hoping that Fantasmic will follow years previous and be on this day. If so we are booking the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose!! I'm excited for t his day!! I can NOT WAIT to go on TSMM again!! John really wants to see the lights action, whatever the heck it's called show too!

Day 4, Tuesday September 15,2009
This is our early DAK day!!! We will do breakfast at Tuskerhouse with guess who..guess I dare ya! That's right, Sophia and Joe!!! After breakfast we will do the things you do at DAK!! Especially the Lion King show and It's Tough To Be A Bug!! We missed that last year!!!!! After that we will do Lunch at Yak and Yeti.. I know.. so much food. But I really want to try it here! Since DAK closes early we will then head back to CSR and do some afternoon swimming/chillaxin. Originally we were going to do Narcooses for dinner, but after staring at the menu, I am just not impressed for 2 TS credits..ya know? So now we are thinking Kona Cafe for dinner, and some fun time at the Poly.. or maybe give Yachtman's another stab?? GFC??Boatwright's??Spoodles?? You tell me. So far Kona seems to have the best selection of food..but you tell me!

Ok, by now, day 5, we should be into the swing of things. No better time to hit up Epcot!! I really feel like you need some practice before you can hit Epcot. So much to do, so much to see!! Since the previous day/night was pretty chillaxed, we will make this a fairly early day! Breakfast at Akeshurs. We really liked it here last year! after that we will do the non- world show case part of epcot for the day. Dinner will be at either Le Cellier or Biergarten this day. If Sophia and Joe join us, then Biergarten. Not sure we will make it all the way to illuminations since we will be there early with no break back to the hotel.

6 years John and I will be together a month from this trip!! Day 6, Thursday,September 17,2009...Also Sophia and Joe's wedding anniversary:bride:
Tonga Toast..... That is how I am starting my day off!! We will be joining Sophia and Joe for their anniversary breakfast at Kona!! We LOVED it here last year! After stuffing our faces, we will be joining Sophia and Joe for a photo shoot at the Poly:cool1: I am stokkkkkeddddd about this! After our modeling sesh we will head over to DAK for a couple hours just in case we missed anything, and then head to DHS for the night! Dinner tonight will be at 50's ptc!! That pot roast is almost as good as mine :)


7 has never really my lucky number..but tonight is MNSSHP [we hope!] Day 7, Friday, September 18,2009
Today will be breakfast at 1900 Park Fare with SnJ(that's much easier). After breakfast I toyed with the idea of doing a park, but think we will go to DTD for last minute shopping and then back to the pool for some chillaxin once again! [I promised John we would do more pool time this time around!] After that we will be off to Mk for dinner at CRT[yes again] and then MNSSHP!!! We are doing CRT again a) it is my and Kayla's fav b) because it is right there in the park and we will be able to start MNSSHP off right away! Sophia and Joe will be meeting us at MNSSHP!! We WILL get a good picture of the headless horseman this year! I promise it!

Kayla just turned 8. Day 8, Saturday, September 19,2009
After thinking about it, we decided to just do a good ol' CS:scared1: Yes I am going to be eating a cs meal!! Last year we stayed for the whole MNSSHP and were sooo tired the next morning! John and the kids will be much more pleasant today if we take our time getting ready. He can run to the pepper market and grab us some light grub. This day will be another Epcot day! Our World Showcase day to be exact! Since we are doing a light breakfast we are going to make lunch ADR's at Coral Reef. We loved the atmosphere as did the kids. The food was pretty great too. For dinner we will be trying the overly talked about Le Cellier. I really hope I like it as much as some of the Diser's out there! Sophia and Joe will be at Epcot today as well, so we will most likely meet up at some point!

We are getting dangerously close to Jenn being sad all over... Day 9, our last full day in the parks:sad1: Oh but today is Johns birthday!!pixiedust: :cake: party: :bday: Sunday, September 20,2009
I am dying to see MK with hardly any people so we will be going to CRT for breakfast this day [yes AGAIN!! We have never eaten breakfast here, so it doesn't count that we are here again!] I know you are all thinking why not go to Crystal Palace?? Right?? Well because we did not like it there at all last year. We will spend the day here and finish up whatever we didn't get to do on our last days there! Hopefully Sophia and Joe will have been able to add a day on and join us! Especially since tonight is our HDDMR night. We have decided this will be our last night dinner form now on. It was last year and will be this year. It's a fun way to end the trip!

I hate this part :sick: Day 10, Monday, September 21,2009. The day we leave and my heart falls apart!
Ugh, do I have to write about this??? We will check out, and go to Chef Mickey's for our last breakfast. Might as well go out with a good meal and fun pictures! After that if we haven't already go to DTD and use up our snack credits at Goofy's! and if we have extra dining credits we will pick up sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich for the ride home! Either way I think we will be picking up those sandwiches. We stopped at Olive Garden on our last trip and it was not a good idea.

So that about wraps up my itinerary! Not bad for someone who had no clue what she was going to do last week!

When I first went to PSB it was less less than $20! In '06. :sad2: I'm just sayin'...if they keep raising prices like this people won't be able to afford it in 5 years. The ddp keeps going up too & they offer less. In '06 the kids got adult apps and desserts too plus the tip was included! Did you know that!? It changed at the end of that year to how it is now with the all in one kids meals but that first time we did it...OMG! It was insane! Then it was 36.99 (or 35.99?) and now it's up to 39.99 and no longer includes an app or tip and the kids meals blow! I know they do this to make the DDP sound enticing but enough is enough. They're getting as bad as the oil companies. Makes you and me have to resort to deluxe to get what we need. :lmao: I'm going to nickname you my CRT friend. :laughing:
I def prefered the original ddp! I would have never upgraded to dxdp if they kept the old plan. I think for the pprice of the dxdp it should include tip! I iwll glady be your CRT friend!!

I just meant that having superb steak, salmon, etc. is common here - which is the sort of food Le Cellier has on their menu kwim? Dh and I are big believers in having meals/experiences that aren't the "norm" at home while we're on vacation. I hope that makes sense. Woohoo I found your Pre-trippie! OK I am all caught up and have lots of comments.

I had to laugh when you said Jack is named John after his father but you never intended to call him that. My boyfriend is the same exact way - his name is Jack, but his real name is John as it's a family tradition to name the firstborn son John. I think he is the 8th one! We got into an argument lately when I realized he expected me to name our son John if we have one. I will have to give him an awesome middle name and just call him that!

I also joined a gym last fall and have been struggling to go so I am here for ya! I try to go four times a week but it usually doesn't happen. I'm happy if I make it twice. I really have noticed a difference though!

I LOVE CSR! I stayed there in March '05 and thought it was just gorgeous. It's big and I got lost a few times but it is sooo pretty.

Definitely get the Tonga Toast at Kona!!!! It was probably my favorite meal of last trip (besides cheeseburgers from Beaches n' Cream)

I also agree Rainforest Cafe isn't that great for a meal but it is wonderful for snacks/dessert. I like to go there and eat at the bar and have a cocktail. Last trip we split a flatbread, before that we got an amazing crab drip....yum!

What gym do you go to? I really do enjoy going, and def feel a whole heck of a lot better. now I just need to start eating a bit better. I have to say, I stopped drinking Diet Coke a couple weeks ago and I have not been snacking all day like I was!! I guess it really is that bad for you..oops:headache: There are days when I really miss it though! The first four days were H*E* double* hockey* stick! I had the worseeeee headache from the withdrawal! That was enough to make me realize my body is much better without it! I wish you lived closer, we could do ZUMBA together and laugh our arses off! I look like such a tool! But I sweat like woah, so it must be doing something!!!

I'm so glad everyone loves CSR so much! I am beyond excited to be staying there! I'm going to feel so fancy!! Everyone deserves to feel fancy once in a while! I am worried about getting lost though, it is GINORMOUS!!!!!!!!

My only tattoo advice is make sure whatever you have you can cover up! Although I have my chest and arms done, they are done so that the right shirt or sweater can cover them! Never know when you will have that job interview with ink haters!

As for the ink. I do not like getting bloodwork, or iv's or shots..or anything of THAT nature. I literally cry when getting blood work done. weird i know. Getting tattooed is different. I know a lot of people say that but it is true. While yes of course you feel the pain it is enjoyable. For me that its. I think this is because I WANT the tattoo, but with shots/bloodwork I absolutely do not want that! I think that is what has always made the difference for me! Plus afterward I have something, as opposed to blood work I gots nothing but a narsty bruise!! so keep all that in mind. Depending on what you think you may want I might be able to suggest less painful spots! Note to most, avoid visible places that you will regret once you can not hide them, avoid places that can grow big and have strecth marks ex: stomach[not everyone looks good after 2 kiddies....like me.. ew], your butt... never know when that is gonna grow on ya!! thighs, on ****s.. etc.... especially if you plan on having kids!

That is a popular tattoo, so I know exactly what you are talking about! Just make sure you go to a good person and they get every detail of his baby foot print. you want it to be exact,. not just a baby foot print!

!! I *love* pilates! Then again, I hate to sweat, unless I'm doing Turbo Kick. But I could tell a huge difference in my strength within 2 weeks of doing pilates, and I attribute my small pregnancy belly to the tonight it did to my core!

Try doing pilates on the Bosu ball, I *promise* you'll sweat!

!! I *love* pilates! Then again, I hate to sweat, unless I'm doing Turbo Kick. But I could tell a huge difference in my strength within 2 weeks of doing pilates, and I attribute my small pregnancy belly to the tonight it did to my core!

Try doing pilates on the Bosu ball, I *promise* you'll sweat!

Pilates and yoga are great strengthening exercises! they firm you up quick! which reminds me *note to self- start doing pilates and yoga again lol!

I am excited for our trip, just a couple weeks away! I don't feel ready at all :eek: I go to the Aquatic & Fitness Center in Jenkintown PA (though they don't have a pool, so I'm not sure where the 'Aquatic' part comes from). I am too shy to do classes by myself so I spend my time with the weight machines and ellipticals. I may be looking for a new gym soon though because we're house hunting and who knows where we will end up! I should try ZUMBA, I did pilates once and it felt like I was doing nothing! Ya gotta break a sweat :banana:

I sweat no matter what I do... I hate it! After ZUMBA it looks like someone was chasing me for a whole day! But that means it's working!! So what are you most excited about for your next trip??

Hey all:wave2: Life has been a bit busy/crazy lately!! Some unrelated updates: I have been going to the cardiologist and have to wear a heart monitor and have an echo cardiogram and stress test after an abnormal ekg result from my reg dr..looks like I am going to be a-ok, this was all just a precaution due to the terrible heart health history in mi familia! I was also diagnosed with a fatty liver [non-alcoholic fatty liver thank you very much lol] and high chlesterol. I had a endoscopy done last friday. Results show that the liver looks ok enough, but also showed two lumps [not sure where exactly] and they had to take biopsy's. I will not know the results of the biopsy's for 2 weeks:sick: So that has been my fun life on the health front.

On the fun front, I celebrated my bday, got my taxes done,went to visit one of my BFF's new baby boy, went sledding on our awesome snow yesterday..l.then went to ER after poor Jack was hit by my friends husband in his snow tube..oops! He is sore today, and also has a cold/possible earache!! FUN! I also went to see the Peking Acrobats with Kayla's class today. They were awesome!! Kayla and I agreed that we were in pain just watching them lol!

On very exciting news front, Sophia [Ohiodisneylover] and her hubs Joe will be coming to out house in about 7 weeks for Jack's 3rd bday!!! I am thrillllled! Get ready to see awesome scrapbooking!

Speaking of Jack and exciting things, he is POTTY TRAINED!!!:jumping1: He still wears a diaper to bed, but he is fully day trained, pee pee and poops!! It happened so quick! It was exactly how it happened with Kayla!

On the Kayla homefront, she and John attended the first annual Father/Daughter dance a couple weeks ago. I volunteered at it, and it was the cutest ish ever!! Dopey me has no pics of them together, but I do have one of her!! and of the AWESOME chocolate covered/sprinkled pretzel rods I made :cutie:
I will also throw in pics from my night in NYC this past weekend for my bday :) and other random shots!

Ok, now on the disney front:cheer2: I mentioned earlier that we did our taxes.. we are luckily getting enough back to cover the trip:cool1: I was stressed about that! I am still hoping to get enough money to bring my mom along!! Sophia and I have also discussed the possibilty of doing an illuminations cruise! On other news, I am now in search of halloween costume ideas. We were originally going to do alice in wonderland and mad hatter, but for some reason, I just aint feeling it! SOOOOOO, if you have any ideas for Kayla and Jack, lemme know! It seems that we also have another Diser who we are going to meet up with, in addition to Heather!! Now we just have to decide times and places to meet at!

In other news, I went to the mall today and snagged a couple shirts for our trip. A tinkerbell one for me [who knew i would ever], and a ringer tee with goofy on it for john! I also picked up cute minnie mouse ears for kayla, and a really cute tinkerbell pillow. I was going to give her the tinkerbell pillow today, but I think I will hold on to it for easter, or to put in her goody bag for the car ride to florida.... sophia if you are at the disney store and see any great deals ever, call me! that's about all i can say right now.. i have a killer migraine brewing :sick:

First.....MAJOR congrats on getting Jack potty trained! I've been trying to get my DS PT for about 6 months now and he's so dang stubborn!! He'll go just fine at school...but i swear he gets that look in his eye at home and just refuses to go potty! :headache:

I hope it goes away soon! Do you have a RX for migraine meds? Drink plenty of fluids and get some rest!

BTW, your kids are so stinking cute! I always wanted dark haired babies (guess it makes up for me always wishing I was a brunette), but Conner's hair is almost red. Jack is gonna be a heartbreaker! :cutie:

I thought about having 2 done, at the tops of my shoulders on my back, one thinner, one fatter, with something between them to connect. They would both have a scar down its tummy, like me! (See, I had gastric bypass and lost 115 lbs, then had a baby, and wellll....I have to lose about 15 again.)

Not at all like multiple personality disorder at all!] I refuse to take meds because they make me feel nothing..no happy,no sad..no nada. and that just is no way to live. I also have sever anxiety attacks, so that does not help.. I wouldn't mind a script for xanax:rotfl:

My tattoos are very traditional and can be found on the sailor jerry website, or any other traditional american tattoo site. Cherries are so cute,and I am looking forward to my next session!

PS I was diagnosed with depression almost four years ago. I'm better now w/my medication but obviously it doesn't work for everyone. Hope you are feeling better by now! As for the depression, I hate meds. They do work, but I rather feel than be zombie like, and unfortunately the meds they prescribe for me make me just not me at all.

So I was at the market a couple days ago and in the egg section I noticed these:

I almost bought them, but a) they are not organic and b) the stamps that were on the eggs were pretty tiny, and all smudged. So at the end of the day I would be buying eggs with jacked up stamps just because it had disney characters on them.. I decided against it. I am sure had jack or Kayla pushed it, I would have bought them though!

In other news, Sophia and I had a mega disney planning session via facebook instant messenger:surfweb: this past Sunday. Never mind that we had guests over, I was in the zone! Plus, they were John's friends, so did I really need to pay full attention??:rolleyes1 [In my defense, Sunday is my day to myself, and John's friend pretty much insisted on coming over. Also, Sophia and I rarely have that much time to talk one on one. So yeah.. I wasn't completely rude!!!]

Once we got looking at our adr choices closely, we were able to really tweak it all to perfection..hope those stupid hours that are not out yet don't screw things up too much! Sophia wrote all the times down, but lets see if I can remember. Sophia, feel free to tell me what i screwed up here!!

Small breakfast at pepper market. I believe our dining buddies are doing the same! Then we are heading off to Epcot.This will be a sleep in day, as we plan on staying til the end of MNSSHP!! Breakfast will be light. Then we are having lunch over at Coral reef, then exploring world showcase. We didn;t do a good job of it last trip. Hopefully S and J will join us for this! This night we will go to Le Cellier!! I am stoked... I hope I like it as much as most of you!

John's bday!! SOOOOO..originally we were going to do CRT for breakfast(and we still might), but after looking at some reports today I am thinking of doing CP. We need to make rope drop this day! So either place we go, it needs to be early! If we do CP that leaves us with some extra dining credits.. I am gonna get crazy here.. I amy try a CS!!!! I figure if we eat before rope drop, we will probably be hungry by 1 or 2..if not earlier! and dinner is at HDDMR at 7... so CS lovers come out and tell me your fav choices!! Keep in mind that we have a ton of snack credits too, so that is another option.. I will accept idea for those too!

:sad1: Today we leave. Originally we were going to do Chgef Micket's today, but since we are doing that on the 13th now we will go to Maya Grille. This is also kind of open. We don't have to even do breakfast..or Maya Grille. It just seems like the easiest choice. We will also go to DTD today and use up the rest of our snack credits at Goofy;s!! They make nice treats to give teachers and friends!

So that is about it. Not anything life altering, but some changes! Sophia please feel free to put down the times we are aiming for!! Waiting to make our adr's is killing me!!

Your super mega DISmeet at Chef Mickey's sounds like a lot of fun! Me and some of the others that are going in May have organized a meet at Epcot on May 17th that we are calling the "Mammoth May Meet." That should be a lot of fun! We are even going to get t-shirts printed up!

On Monday, you can't beat breakfast at Boma! In fact, we are planning to go back there on our upcoming trip. We will also be trying Mama Melrose for lunch.

On Tuesday, you were planning Yak & Yeti for lunch and Kona for dinner. Personally, I think that is an AWESOME lineup! We ate at both places last May and loved them. I've got lots of pictures and reviews for both places in my last trip report. (The link is in my signature, if you're interested. You can go to page one and just look for the chapter that interests you.) In fact, we are going back to both of these restaurants on our upcoming trip! I plan to order the exact same thing at both places as last year!! At Y&Y, I am having the seared ahi tuna for an appetizer, the shaoxing steak & shrimp for entree, and the fried wontons for dessert. (I'll probably throw in an Emperor's Margarita as well! ;) ) At Kona, I will order the wings (SOOO good) for an appetizer and the prime rib as an entree.

On Wednesday, we've never eaten at Akershus or Biergarten, but I would like to eat at both places the next time we go. I've been wanting to eat at Biergarten since we started planning our first trip, but I keep getting outvoted by the rest of the family!

Oh, I see that on Thursday you WILL be at Kona. Okay, now it makes more sense to keep your options open on Tuesday night! :)

Sunday - we've never done HDDR, but we have friends who go every year and love it. We considered doing it on our last trip, but ultimately I think we all wanted to try as many 2TS dinners as possible!

Monday - Although we stay at CSR, we've never eaten at Maya Grill. Just for the sake of convenience, I am thinking about adding a breakfast ADR at Maya to our list. AND, you are SO right about those snack credits at Goofy's Candy Co.!!! We had "souvenirs" for everyone!

Hang in there - that 90 day window will be here before you know it! Isn't being on the Deluxe Dining Plan awesome?

so again.. Sophia and her hubs Joe are amazing people and have brightened our lives!! We received two boxes today full of easter "baskets" for the kids. Kayla has not opened hers yet, but Jack did and absolutely loved everything!! She also sent me the new passporter, and I am jazzed!! I have always wanted one!! It is a cool one too!!

We would love to meet you and your family, but Sept. is out of the question in my line of work. I work at a University, and football season is my busiest time of the year. I would love to go during free dining!

You should reconsider. My nephew is 11 and he didn't seem to mind it at all. :rolleyes1 Actually, he enjoyed it. :) It is so much fun there and the kids seem to have a fun time dancing as well.

We would love to meet you and your family, but Sept. is out of the question in my line of work. I work at a University, and football season is my busiest time of the year. I would love to go during free dining!

Still doing yummy breakfast at Boma with Sophi and Joe this day! Then heading to DHS. Dinner at Mama Melrose, fantasmic package.//finger crossed!: We've done the Mama Melrose/Fantasmic package a couple years ago and loved it! We got a early ADR for Mama Melrose so we had time to squeeze a couple more things in after we ate before we headed to the front for our entrance for Fantasmic package people. We loved being able to just walk in and skip the "herding"!

Early adr's at Tusker house, with a plan of making DAK rope drop! After that I am confused. Originally I planned on doing Yak and Yeti for lunch then Kona for dinner. But it will be fun to see where the night takes us!: We love just winging it sometimes..it's so nice to not always worry about keeping up with a plan all the time!

Small breakfast at pepper market. I believe our dining buddies are doing the same! Then we are heading off to Epcot.This will be a sleep in day, as we plan on staying til the end of MNSSHP!! Breakfast will be light. Then we are having lunch over at Coral reef, then exploring world showcase. We didn;t do a good job of it last trip. Hopefully S and J will join us for this! This night we will go to Le Cellier!! I am stoked... I hope I like it as much as most of you!: Oh boy you are going to love Le Cellier!!!! I always get the filet mignon with mushroom risotto!

John's bday!! SOOOOO..originally we were going to do CRT for breakfast(and we still might), but after looking at some reports today I am thinking of doing CP. We need to make rope drop this day! So either place we go, it needs to be early! If we do CP that leaves us with some extra dining credits.. I am gonna get crazy here.. I amy try a CS!!!! I figure if we eat before rope drop, we will probably be hungry by 1 or 2..if not earlier! and dinner is at HDDMR at 7... so CS lovers come out and tell me your fav choices!! Keep in mind that we have a ton of snack credits too, so that is another option.. I will accept idea for those too!: Okay my favorite CS at the MK is both Cosmic Ray's and Pinnochio's!
I actually have eaten at pinnchios, and remember liking it! i have to really check out the menus.. i dont think i ever have for the cs meals:scared1:

Hey guys, I just wanted to share that Kayla had her very first audition today. The Bucks County Playhouse was holding auditions for the childrens theatre and we decided to go for it! I am soooo proud of her for getting on that huge stage and performing in front of over 100 people! So many kids showed up to audition that they had to open the theater where the auditions were, so everyone got to watch everyone, as opposed to just a group of kids and their parents as was told would happen! One of Kayla's bff owns the playhouse, but everyone had to audition just the same, and have head shots. I would love to share my excitement with people I know , but everyone seems to think I am showing off by talking about this. I assure you I am not, I am just soooo excited!! Excited that already my daughter is much better than me in so many ways. I would have NEVER done what she did today! So yeah, I'm really freaking proud and impressed! and not just by her, but by her 3 other friends that got up before and after her!! That takes a lot of guts! Anywho, they were all so cute, and I am so excited... I hope this leads to the college program at Disney world :rotfl:

My memory fails me, dh is a teacher right?? I make sure to attend as much as possible! I hatedddd not having my parents at my events! I also try and make sure she does a number of activities and tries all different types of activities. Again my parents didn't do any of this, and well, I have borderline personality disorder whihc stems from my child hood, not to mention how I hate doing anything due to being fearful. Kayla is just so confident and open to trying all things. I truly am blown away by her:lovestruc

She tried out for all the childrens theater plays. They include: Annie,beauty and the beast,snow white, rapunzel, jack and the beanstalk...uhm I forget the rest lol She is guaranteed a spot, just not a lead role. So either way she gets to be in the background which is an awesome start and experience in itself. But of course I am hoping they absolutely fell in love and want to cast her as the lead in something :rotfl2:

I am not sure when I find out any of the starting dates or what she will be cast as, but I will def keep you all updated!

Working in the alumni department means that I am most busy throughout the football season. Lots of our alumni chapters have activities and reunions during the football season. In addition, I have a side job as a musician. We are possibly going to be around the Mobile/Pensacola area this fall. We would LOVE to go to WDW while our kids are out of school for fall break, but it just so happens to be my "Can't Miss Work" time of the year. :sad2:

I can't change things now because we're doing a Grand Gathering with other people (which I can not wait for and if you come early you can join us!!!) The MNSSHP party starts on the 4th. I might add on two nights so we can do that too. It was so much fun last year! Right now we're August 23rd through Sept 2nd. Well, I'd have to add on 3 nights. But that's okay. If Sidney doesn't mind I'm up for it. Then we'd leave on the 5th.

Ugh, I just can't do august. I am sorry. we will be celebrating John;s bday while there, and Sophia and Joe will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary!! as for 2010..who knows. Working in the alumni department means that I am most busy throughout the football season. Lots of our alumni chapters have activities and reunions during the football season. In addition, I have a side job as a musician. We are possibly going to be around the Mobile/Pensacola area this fall. We would LOVE to go to WDW while our kids are out of school for fall break, but it just so happens to be my "Can't Miss Work" time of the year. :sad2:

So I thought I posted this last week, but I didn't. I made my first official Disney trip purchase last week!! I was bored and decided to look on the budget boards, and I came across a crocs thread..well, Crocs.com had an AWESOME sale in their outlet section on disney crocs [and other kids!!] there was also a code for 20% off and free shipping.. I was only able to use one of those codes, and it made more sense to use the 20% off. If your order is over $75.00 then you get free shipping as well, and could use the 20% code! Anywho, I ordered Jack a pair of black and red mickey crocs, cayman style, I also ordered that style with mickey heads in pink and purple for my neice for her bday at the end of april, and ordered two pairs of black and red mary jane style ones for Kayla and I!! I paid 62 for all 4 pairs with shipping! Here's the best part, my gram went to Florida last week and couldn't find gifts for the kids, so she offered to pay for their crocs and she will give them to them as a souvenir, after all Mickey = Florida, right??? Well they came in the mail today, and are supppper cute! Although I think they are too big :( But if I ordered smaller, i don't think they would have fit by September, and you know how i like to make sure everything fits forever! Oddly enough I ordered Jack a 10/11 which is the size 8 year old Kayla wears in them now:rotfl:! I ordered hers a 12/13. Funny how much bigger his foot is then hers ever was!

I will reply in a second to all of you! I wanted to say, I finally pieced together my Disney past!! I went to WDW about 13 years ago. I do not remember barely any of the trip.. or any of my childhood to be honest. So it has been killing me, not remembering my favorite place or where we stayed! I called my Uncle who took me on the trip, and I asked where we stayed. He could not remember, but he did remember that we did not have a car, and that we took the "tram" everywhere.. the tram was the monorail! What I could remember was lots of dark wood.... so after thinking for 30 seconds of detective work, I have come up with the Polynesian! It has dark wood, and is a monorail resort!!

Ok, so the point to all this.... Values are a great choice for when you have kids! My uncle spent all that money on the poly and I don't even remember it! But I bet if we had stayed at a place like ASMO I bet I would have remembered it! Granted we are upgrading this trip and I shouldn't talk smack. But we are doing that more for ourselves then the kids. Although I think Kayla will remember the pool!

Sorry, I am having a weird day.. it is very odd when you can not remember your child hood! I wanna see if I can find our disney pics and piece together what I was actually able to see! I do remember going to Epcot, and being a brat because it was "boring" ( I love epcot now!) .. Hopefully I find the pics, and a scanner too!

:idea: If you went back to a value resort versus a moderate you could probably stay twice as long for about the same price! :rolleyes1 Maybe then for real ya'll could stay for two weeks!? You're diving so far down anyway why not stay longer? :confused3 Just sayin'....

I don't know how much stuff runs for around here really. I just booked that insanely huge villa for C's party and it was $156 with tax for one night with their "sunshine" rate. I'd say just search for those kinds of deals. You guys don't need something that big unless another family wanted to share. Heck, if you got a big group up and rented the 4 bedroom villa even at full price that's like $100 per family! Not bad. Three of the four rooms have oceanfront/view balconies! If you don't care for being on the ocean look into resorts around Broadway at the Beach. That's a fun place to stay near!

Fun stuff... Our next trip wasn't supposed to be until Nov 29 BUT I decided we needed one ASAP. I was talking about the smell of Main St and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. We NEED to go back! Friday April 24- Jack's Birthday :(, Sophia's arrival day!
I am guestimating she will be here around 3:30. Once she gets here we will just chill a bit, since they had a long drive!! Around 5:30 or so we will head out for dinner and bowling for Jack's bday!! Although the bowling may have to wait til Sunday... It may be too late a night after a dinner to do bowling...hmm.. something to think about. While waiting for sophia I will get my baking that has to be done..done.

Saturday April 25- Arrrghhh..Pirate Party Time!
John took today off:lovestruc The b-day party is scheduled for about 3 pm, by 9:02 Sophia will either decide she can continue our friendship, or she will run for the door.. On birthday party days, I get stresssssed.. like super crazy stupid stressed.. I think it is because people I don't see often are usually there, and I don't want to look like stupid white trash to them lol who knows, but it happens everrry year! So ok, this day will be focused on making salads, and making Jack's awesome pirate cake!! Since I was mart the day before and baked the cakes, all I will have to do is ice and decorate! Anywho, 3 pm is party time! Sophia will get to meet my crazy family, and friends! Basically this day will just be party day all day.. oh and we will have a treasure hunt, John anf Joe are in charge of making the treasure maps!! Later that night we may get to work on some scrap booking stuff...maybe

Sunday April 26- Shad Fest!
What is a shad fest you ask?? well, it is a festival based on the nastiest tasting fish you ever did smell or taste [which I have not!] Bt it is fun! It is very artsy craftsy, small town fun! Amazing food too! That is the real reason I go! The kids absolutely love it! It is just something fun to do, and just happened to fall that weekend, perfect, if you ask me! After that, we are scrapping!! and dising, and all that! Joe , John and the kids can go fly a kite or something!!:lmao: All I know is that, this is our opprotunity to get stuff done.. Make the magic happen if you will!

Monday April 27- Sophia leaves and I am sad!

So I thought I posted this last week, but I didn't. I made my first official Disney trip purchase last week!! I was bored and decided to look on the budget boards, and I came across a crocs thread..well, Crocs.com had an AWESOME sale in their outlet section on disney crocs [and other kids!!] there was also a code for 20% off and free shipping.. I was only able to use one of those codes, and it made more sense to use the 20% off. If your order is over $75.00 then you get free shipping as well, and could use the 20% code! Anywho, I ordered Jack a pair of black and red mickey crocs, cayman style, I also ordered that style with mickey heads in pink and purple for my neice for her bday at the end of april, and ordered two pairs of black and red mary jane style ones for Kayla and I!! I paid 62 for all 4 pairs with shipping! Here's the best part, my gram went to Florida last week and couldn't find gifts for the kids, so she offered to pay for their crocs and she will give them to them as a souvenir, after all Mickey = Florida, right??? Well they came in the mail today, and are supppper cute! Although I think they are too big :( But if I ordered smaller, i don't think they would have fit by September, and you know how i like to make sure everything fits forever! Oddly enough I ordered Jack a 10/11 which is the size 8 year old Kayla wears in them now:rotfl:! I ordered hers a 12/13. Funny how much bigger his foot is then hers ever was!

I also wanted to say Congrats on Paying off your vacation!!! That is awesome.

Also I wanted to say yes the maps make great souviners. Infact my mom just found one that was From when her parents took the family when they were kids. It still had the ride "If you had wings on it" It was falling apart so she had to have it mounted on a board and then framed for me but it was my favorite Christmas gift this year and a great look into Disney past. Especially since not all rides last forever.

Honestly.. our DD's are creepily alike.. like down to every last detail! and funny that you have a blonde and I have a brunette.. i love it! Them together would = trouble! lol! I loveeee the wii fiit! I'm a fan of the balancing games! Jack does like Bolt! Kayla just got that in her basket, but it is in the van dvd player, so he watches it more than she does! He doesn't quite get it all yet, but I hear him LOL while it is on!

Ok, lol! We upgraded from free dining to DXDP last September and were so happy we did! I wouldn't pay for it full price, but def worth it as an upgrade! You have no PTR!! Make one.. or post the ADR's you want on here! Let's compare ;>

DD is turns 2 next month, and I'm not sure how she'd handle it. She spooks easily. Last year she was a little timid around the characters, liked them as long as they didn't touch her! :rotfl: This year she was the same way with the Easter Bunny. I haven't started a PTR yet, but I've been thinking about it so I don't drive my husband crazy! He's definitely not Disney crazy--and his only requests are good food and good beer :lmao: (he HAS to go back to the Biergarten too!) Last year he didn't help plan at all, and this year he's already sat and looked at menus with me! I was shocked!! I think I'll start a PTR later to help with my obsession, I mean planning!

Jack is just TOO cute! I love his hair. I had tried to grow out DS' hair but he just looks a raggedy mess lol. Kayla is gorgeous, and entirely better at Wii Fit than I am haha.

He also picked out a pair of green crocs...a little different. Callef the crocling. Baby DS got himself some kids all terrain shoes. They look like reg shoes w/ croc bottoms. DD ordered croc boots (they look kind of cool actually) and the Hannah Montana mammoths. All five pair were only $70.36
