It is a hard decision to make , but working in the field I know how much care and responsibilty that can be and yes it would take it's toll on the whole family!! But their are rewards , special ones are just that !!!They have the ability to bring such JOY!!!This is definately a decision only those directly involved can make and others should not judge !! I know I don't !! Prayers to your boss !!

I can't believe the vactions are getting so close you only have 43 days. I still remember when I first checked into your report and we were all still waiting for our 90 ADR's mark.

Thank you! I can't believe how close everything is either..and now I'm getting sad because it will come and go so soon.. is that weird? I am sad about a vacation being over that hasn't even started! eek. I have issues! we need this vacation asap though! even John said "I can't wait for our trip":eek: I know! all work and no real play makes us bitter people:lmao:

Wow.. so, I keep thinking I have time to do stuff. Maybe because I have had nothing but time for the past year?? But in reality, i only have 37 days left to get my act together. In reality I have about 20 good days to do stuff. The last 3 weekends of this month will make the time fly by! I have my sister and some family coming for a visit and sesame place trip on the 14-18, and then the 22/23 we go to one of my BFF's house and Ocean City N.J. with her for the day, then the last weekend I have my nephews 4th birthday party! Then a few days after that party, Kayla starts school, and then the next week we leave for Disney! I am pretty sure soccer practices will start at the end of this month as well! and Don't for get back to school shopping has to fit in there somewhere. Although we have started a bit of it! and in actuality, she needs NOTHING! She has shoes that still don't even fit her in the closet, more clothes than any one child should have, and I bought her really cool shoes and a new school bag in addition to a few new outfits already:rolleyes1 BUT she is kinda finding herself this year, so she is into the shopping thing, how can I resist! one more shopping trip, then I will be done for reals!

With all that said, I believe it is time to start posting a to do/remember list!

I don't know that I have mentioned it yet, but the kids will be doing an Aladdin theme for MNSSHP! My friend Kelly that is going to WDW with us will be making Jack's Aladdin costume:yay: and although I thought he would say no, John is making the kids a magic carpet!! Basically a carpet on top of wood with wheels! I can't wait for this to be done so I can take pics for you guys! It should be a big hit in WDW!! Yet another great reason for us to drive:rolleyes1 Now if the Disney store would just release their jasmine costumes, I would be happy.. although I may wait til we get to WDW to get it??

I am pretty sure I am DONE with gifts for the kids.. I went a bit crazy, and John may separate from me if I come home with any new stuff!

Family shirts have not been made... I need to talk to Sophia about that! Sophia we also need to figure out what we are all wearing for the photo shoot:headache:

Pretty soon I should start a letter from WDW to the kids.. Hey Beka, wanna send my kids a letter or postcard from WDW while you are there? That would make it extra believable!

Pretty soon I will call Disney again and double check that all our adr's are correct. It feels weird to have gotten everything I wanted in one shot! last year I called multiple times a day for months. this time around I only had to call a couple times in the beginning! I am thrilled that we got everything we wanted, but it makes me feel like I am not doing something right..does that makes sense?

last but not least is my list of window decorating ideas! I started this list a while ago and have been adding ideas as I see them!

*Put boo to you on the window
*x-mas lights around the windows
*halloween decor
*Put something on the door for people to leave us notes/dis names!
*Cut out or buy letters and put "Do you Dis?"
*Have Sophia print out our Disney stick people and put that in the window
*Put birthday stuff for John's bday! maybe put we are celebrating....?
*and last but not least, we will attach mickey heads from home depot on to string and make a beaded curtain type thing :) maybe all colors..or maybe just black and orange for Halloween theme??

So yes, I have a lot left to do in 37 days!!

and Rosie, i think I have said it, but I will say it again, the dryer sheets are PACKED!

I am beyond stoked.. I just can not believe how close this trip is getting!!

On a sad note, please keep my boss in your well wishes. She has recently found out that the baby she is pregnant with is severely deformed and severely mentally retarded. She will be having the A word this coming week. Reason being, the baby may not even make it to birth, let alone survive afterwards:sad1: I am especially sad, since the baby is a girl, like i knew :( This whole situation sucks, and the coming weeks are going to be especially rough.

I am so grateful that I have Disney to look forward to!

last year we watched my POTC I think.. cause we got off the ride and walked right over.. we went 2 nights though. I can't recall where we stood the 2nd night ;/

Hi inkedupmomma! A fellow Bucks County resident who is going to Disney the same week as me! I'm hearing 'its a small world' song in my head right about now!

We're getting close! Only a about 5 more weeks and we'll be home again. I'm thinking about getting my suitcase up from the basement to *start* putting some things in! Too bad we will be at MNSSHP on a different night. I would have met you somewhere to say hello! :)

Jenn, we watched Hallowishes from the Terrace in Tomorrowland last year. :thumbsup2 Remember?????...no one was there and we got great pictures!

We watched the parade near Pecos Bill's....stupid lights were terrible and we got craptastic pics. :eek: This year I WILL get the headless horseman even if I have to watch both parades to do it!

When we were there in May they told us that they changed the route of the parades...meaning where they start from. Not sure if will still be true next month. There was a CM that we met that showed us the "best" spot to get great pics, taking lighting, etc. into consideration...she was right on! Spectro pics were awesome. :wizard: No lights shining in your camera lens. :eek:

I remember when our tickers said 11 months............time went by so fast.

OMG..OMG..OMG!!!!!:scared1: 30 days you guys! 30 days until I leave for the wonderful awesome WDW! I am getting to the jittery can't handle it point now!! In really awesome news, hell may have frozen over, or the whole sadness (that my heart is still sad over) with my boss has made her heart grow bigger, she has given me a raise! (I was just joking with all that, I knew she would eventually..but ts more fun to poke fun at her). It feels great to get a raise, whatever the reasoning was (I will go ahead and assume it is because I am so ultra mega awesome rockin)

With this new raise, comes even more of an assurance that we will go next year! I mean, I already put aside the $200 for a BB offer, but now I know I will def be able to go..unless something awful happens..:rolleyes1 I know.. I can be so negative!

ok moving on. Now that we are getting so close, different things are starting to cross my mind. The biggest one is, last year I said I wanted to make a list of places to take pics..well I never made that list! Sooo I am taking suggestions, and I will compile a list! I will make a post on the forum as well!

OHH amd the biggest news, we got our documents!! They are very different from last year, and the MYW package no longer comes with the free 5x7:mad: that really pisses me off! Also the luggage tags are no different than in previous years :sad2: oh well.. who cares!

In addition to the documents, I have also bought some new stuff! Shirts, halloween bags, etc.. john has finished making the kids "magic carpet" for their Aladdin theme. Now I just need to buy some cheap egg crate for there comfort, and a rug, or oriental looking tapestry for full effect! Unfortunately, the Disney stores Jasmine costume, sucks hard core this year. So I have put in a SOS to everyone I know with a Princess jasmine costume! Whoever has the most parts that are right will be the winner lol! I did buy the new one in case I get stuck..but I am hoping that is not the case!

In other awesome news, my Uncle was given a brand new portable DVD player with all the awesome parts and a case! Guess who will have a DVD player at dinners:rolleyes1 i know..I know. But people will thank me once they realize the holy terror jack can and will unleash. I am hoping this will keep him calm and get us through dinner in a much more pleasurable manner!

I got those shirts at the disney store! I thought they were pretty snazzy for teh disney store. and def something John doesn't mind wearing. If you read my previous TR you will see how anti disney clothes wearing we normally are :rotfl:

ok moving on. Now that we are getting so close, different things are starting to cross my mind. The biggest one is, last year I said I wanted to make a list of places to take pics..well I never made that list! Sooo I am taking suggestions, and I will compile a list! I will make a post on the forum as well!

Here's my suggestions: CSR, CSR, and did I mention CSR? Seriously though, the Dig Site Pool is a great place for pictures. As for the parks, here are my suggestions: MK - monorail, train station, in front of the big falls from Splash Mountain. AK - On the bridge where you can see Expedition Everest in the background, front entrance of the park, and entrance to Y&Y! ;) DHS - in front of the Tower of Terror, Inside the que line at Toy Story Mania, outside of Star Tours, in front of the Brown Derby. Epcot - pretty much anywhere but my favorite is when you first enter the World Showcase from Future World, take a right and walk towards Canada. Before you get to Canada, turn back around and look back at Future World with the monorail in the shot.

Ahhh I'm such a bad DISer and have been MIA over here :( I'm back though and all caught up!! The things you do remind me of what my mom did when I was younger! She'd always give us a bag of cool new stuff to keep us entertained on our drive down/on the plane ride. Then she gave me letters/presents from Minnie Mouse and I would get SO excited!
Thanks for the reminder! I never even did the letters yet! Glad to have ya ack :)

I know what you mean about after trip depression. My last trip wasn't TOO bad b/c it was the first time I left Disney and knew I would be coming back. Every other time before that I didn't know when my next trip would be (even though it was EVERY March, it was never completely set in stone). I hate coming on the boards right away b/c I get sad that it's not me planning a trip and thinking about all the fun stuff I did on my trip just makes me sad. I know it should be the other way around, but thats what happens with depression!! Ugh!

We actuially went to WDW the first time in May,2005. I did love it then. But now I'm stuck on this September biz..

Here's my suggestions: CSR, CSR, and did I mention CSR? Seriously though, the Dig Site Pool is a great place for pictures. As for the parks, here are my suggestions: MK - monorail, train station, in front of the big falls from Splash Mountain. AK - On the bridge where you can see Expedition Everest in the background, front entrance of the park, and entrance to Y&Y! ;) DHS - in front of the Tower of Terror, Inside the que line at Toy Story Mania, outside of Star Tours, in front of the Brown Derby. Epcot - pretty much anywhere but my favorite is when you first enter the World Showcase from Future World, take a right and walk towards Canada. Before you get to Canada, turn back around and look back at Future World with the monorail in the shot.

Wow wow wow! We onlyhave 16 days left until we hit the road for WDW! I am feeling panicky again! It dawned on me, that the magic carpet john has made for the kids may not be allowed into the parks :sad1: It looks so cute, and goes with teh costume so well! Plus it cost a pretty penny to make! Anyone have any thoughts on this?

other panicky thoughts, where are we going to eat on the ride down, what exactly are we going to do on the way back? We do not know where we are going to stop, and we have even thought about extending our stay an additional day:rolleyes1 gonna go with the flow on this, which is just not my normal style. It should be good for me to do this :thumbsup2

I still have not decided what to put on our door for fellow Disers to say hello, BUT John was very cute last night, and was trying to come up with ideas :love: I love when he gets all Disney with me!

I have started cutting out my mickey heads and laminating them, next i have to string them up! I still need to ciut out Do you Dis? and boo to you out of poster board! I also need birthday type stuff for John's bday! I did buy the 3M removable hook thingies though, so that is one thing off my list! Hopefully they will stick well and hold up my Halloween lights!

I have so much other stuff to do, but I can't seem to focus on anything! I hate it! Hopefully it will all kick in a couple days before the trip and will make those last few days fly by!

in other non Disney related news, my baby girl starts 3rd grade in exactly one week :sad1::sad2::guilty: I am beyond not ok with this! Yes I am *that* mom. the one who walks her kid in on the first day, and cries the whole time. the one who can not cope with the harsh reality that kids do in fact grow up! It is pretty unhealthy! in fun news on that end, we have gone back to school shopping, and with her age has come this awesome fashionista! She picked out some super super super cute stuff for this school year! A very eensy weensy part of me likes the young lady she is becoming! Regardless of how sad I feel, she never ceases to keep me in awe of how wonderful she is! the things she says are wise beyond her years, it's borderline ridiculous how well she grasps reality and can explain it like the worlds oldest woman! But yet has this 2 year old in her that has an appreciation of all things small and all things fun! (think DISNEY!)

Ok, I am done with my emo-fest!

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! Big news guys! Idk if any of you have noticed that they extended the Wishes dessert party, but they have! So today I booked our spot!! We will be going on September 19! Only downside is, that I will now be missing the Mini Dis meet at CSR with KatMark and other fab disers :( Normally I would never miss something like that, but this is the day before John's birthday! and how often is an opportunity handed to one like this one was??? So If anyone will be at the Dessert Party please let me know! And any of you disers who may still wanna meet another day, don't be shy!!

All of this means it is REAL.. this IS going to happen! I am so so soooo stoked!

in those bags, in case the pics aren't fab, are towels, clothes, bath suits, flip flops, goggles, a movie, big pens, pool toys..and other fun stuff!

these will be the surprises for the kids!! However, i will give Kayla the one pen, so she can journal on her way down, and I will give them both the movie for the ride down! Not a Disney movie, but a great movie none the less ( Mr.Magaoriums magic emporium) .

So there you have it, there it is!

In other news, school is going well for Kayla! She is on her first play date of the school season, right now! Not a new friend, but a play date none the less! quite the social butterfly that one is!

I am allpacked with the excepton of batteries , birth certificates for the kids in case they need them !! Lord knows Judy wouldn't think of it , she hasn't even got her suitcase out :rotfl2: I told the girls to pack a caryon between them and put a change of clothes a swimsuit and toothbush in for each !!They wanted to know why a toothbrush!!:worship: Lord help me didn't I already explain this was in case the suitcases got lost !!:rotfl2:

Let me see !! Tonite the girls get their hair done for the Competition tomorrow which will mean a late night !!:scared1:Which means Rosie wil be doing laundry cleaning etc ! Tomorrow is the competition won't be home till 10pm . Holy cow you guys.. the last minute vacation stress has finally hit me! I thought I was too calm! But now no.. I'm totally stressed and have a million bags packed. If you or anyone you know is in Disney World this week and is in need of ANY type of medicine, hit me up!:lmao: I seriously am on a nervous packing frenzy..which I am pretty sure I said in the beginning of this PTR I wouldn't do..:rolleyes1

Wait til you guys see the pics of the luggage and even more the pics of all he stuff laid out in the hotel room, you may think twice about being my Dis friend:rotfl: You would honestly think I am going for a month or two and to be honest, this is what I would pack if I were going for a month or two. At least I won't forget anything! I HOPE!

Anywho, I still have cleaning/laundry to do today and tomorrow and some last minute packing. I also have an 11 am pedicure for tomorrow:banana: and at some point i have to get Kayla over to get her toes done.. not sure how that's gonna work with the 2 boys with me:confused:

On a much sadder note, I can not find my Nightmare Before Christmas DVD!! :scared1::scared1::scared1: I am sincerely hoping I put it in some weird spot in the mini van.. if not, I will have to make a quick stop at target tonight! Why you ask??/ Cause it is NMBC and we will be in teh car for how many hours?? It *IS* a necessity in my eyes!

Ok.. maybe i'll post some more rants tonight!

I hope this makes sense, If you go to the bridge on the left side of the castle, at the end of the bridge and sit/stand yourself right at that corner there you can get amazing parade shots with the castle in the background and no one in front of you!! (no one is allowed to be on the bridge for the parade! the pics turn out awesome! if u want i can show u, msg me and i can send u my facebook album link!

I have pepto, imodium( covered both ways)alergy meds, decongestants variety of pain pills everysort of bandaid known to man, athletes foot stuff,visine,hydrocortisone cream, neosporin, firstaid tape , moleskin,coughdrops and I am sure more . I also packed some antibiotics!! I think we are set !!Oh I forgot .. an ace bandage !!:lmao:Ofcourse DRYER SHEETS!!!!:worship::rotfl2:

I will say this, we had a BLAST!! Best trip ever! Jack was a more of a pain than last year, but absoutely loved loved loveddd it this year! So many great memories were made on this trip..and guess what.. we booked BOUNCE BACK!! wooot!
