HI! What's the best spot for a relaxing stroll or spot to sit at CSR?
Thanks,

Around the lake is a nice walk. I think a little less then a mile. To sit, there are several hammocks on the cabannas section. There is a also a nice area with tables and chairs along the lake just outside the restrant area. Perfect for enjoying a coffee or adult beverage of your choice.

Also, at the pool, along Siestas, are some tables with umbrellas that are also nice to sit by the pool. All the places Buzz mention are great too. Walk along the bridge area at night, w/ the lights, I think it is very nice. I have pictures of all the places mentioned on my site below.

My parents are at Coronado Springs as we speak -- they were going down for a week and kind of planned a free-form trip, as in they'd get to the parks whenever they feel like it. They checked in on Monday.
Well, it's Friday and they still haven't been in the parks yet! They've spent the last four days just enjoying Coronado. This is their first time there (they were previously Dixie Landings devotees) and they're both in love with the place. They love the hammocks on the beach (Mom says they're almost big enough for 3 people at once!), strolling around the lake and laying on lounges at the pool. She says she thinks Coronado is even heavier on ambiance than Dixie, and they both absolutely love it. They have the same surrey bikes that the Boardwalk has, along with boat & kayak rentals too. The only snag in their plans is that Dad doesn't eat any kind of ethnic food whatsoever, so they've mainly been dining at Siesta's where he can get a hot dog :)
Incidentally, the only reason they chose to book Coronado over Dixie/Port Or. Riverside again is that my family and I have booked Coronado for this August, and she's heard how excited I am about going that they decided to check it out too. They even got a free water view upgrade on their room.
So, I'm thinking there must be plenty of places to relax there. They're enjoying it so much that they seem to be in no hurry to do parks! :)

I'd have to confess, I am also a DxL lover. I have stayed there 3 times. I stayed at POFQ last year. I thought the resort was awesome. But I still love DxL. I hope I love CSR as much as your parents have!

ds and I strolled around CSR lake and came across a nice little bridge near Ranchos. Very woodzie and quiet. The hammocks are nice and the quiet pools are quiet. S
