We're in line for TSMM so since we have time to kill, I thought I'd come share our most recent celebrity sighting! We just saw Pete & Walter! I have to say, I got a little starstruck! LOL. I was secretly hoping we'd see them today knowing they were in the area. I hope they're having a good time minus the weather! It's been raining off & on all weekend.

No, I was too chicken! Plus, they were making their way out of the park and I didn't want to disturb them. I was kind of kicking myself afterward, though - I would've loved to give a quick hello and tell Pete how grateful I am for these boards and what a HUGE fan I am of the podcast. So since I couldn't do it in person, hopefully he'll get to read this thread at some point. LOL :upsidedow

Um, I told Pete & Walter that you saw them at the Parks, and they said they would have enjoyed meeting you. Don't be shy next time. Just tell them you were the one they almost met at DCA. :flower:

Thank you, Mary Jo!!! That's really cool! :cloud9: Maybe next time the whole crew comes out we can plan some type of DIS/Podcast meet for all of us West Coasters.

I get to DL on Wednesday, and would love to bump into them. When are they traveling back?

They'll be around during the week, so you may see them.

Pete really is interested in the idea of a DL meet, so who knows - there could be one in the future!

I thought that there is a DL meet in early May, just before the Podcast cruise. :confused3 Maybe I'm totally wrong though.

Alas - it will not come to pass for April/May.

After speaking with Pete on Sunday, they realized that being able to throw that as a quality event, representative of the DIS - within 1 week of throwing the podcast cruise - was unrealistic. There is just too much involved with the podcast cruise to be done during that time frame.

Don't give up hope though. They still want something to happen out here. Dates just have to be determined.

If I'm on that situation, I got a little starstruck too. Glad to know that they would also want to say Hi to anyone who wants to meet them.
