Welcome to the DIS!!! Does your family evey get car sick, or sick while flying, or motion sickeness....if they do then chances are they may get sick onboard. If they don't, chances are everything will be fine.
do you like great activites, great service, wonderful food, fantastic entertainment, friendly counselors, beautiful workmanship, luxury, great ports of call??? If yes, they you will love this cruise.
We have been on DCL 5 times already with #6 and #7 already booked.
Keep reading these boards for any specific information you will need.

I have to agree, there is nothing better than the mickey boat, my son was three when we crused last Sept and has not stopped talking about it, he loved every minute, and seeing him soooo happy just finishes off a fantastic holiday.
We enjoyed it sooooooooo much we are going to do eastern/western back to back roll on next year we can't wait for mickey overload.

First and foremost, welcome to the DIS Boards (and a fellow New Jerseyite).
The fact that you have two families and 4 kids among them should make the cruise even more enjoyable. There'll be someone th kids (and adults) know and can play with. Although, there should be plenty of children on board at those ages.
As far as being seasick, kids are more resilient than adults. It's more likely than you will be seasick than the kids ... and there's medication for that.

We cruised in March last year and the weather was wonderful.
Very mild and not too hot. We had a little rain pass over when in St. Martin and that was the only time we saw rain. Enjoy your cruise!
