Well its a start. I was a local thing called the "Frost bite 5k" It was actually the warmest day we have had in months. Thought I would figure out what a timed race was all about before I signed up for the Marathon.and from the looks of things I will have more time then I thought to sign up. Doesn't seem to be filling with % yet. (I know, not even really comparable) But I really enjoyed it nonetheless. :thumbsup2

Congrats from a fellow Michigander! You had a great weather day to do the race. Now you know what it's like to run a real race and you can build towards your marathon. Good luck with your training.

Congrats on your first 5k - that is awesome. I am sure it is the start of many more to come. Its quite addicting!! I did a 5k today as well.

Yup onto bigger and better things. ;) I've noticed though, that is what ALOT of races are. Atleast here in michigan. Somewhat frustrating.
