Has anyone ever used a snack credit to get something for breakfast and then paid OOP for a drink? In your opinion, what is are best things to get as a breakfast item with a snack credit?

breakfast pastries, of course! We take extra large zip-lock baggies with us and generally pick up pastries from park bakery as we leave a park in evening. Pop the to-go container in a zip-lock (the to-go boxes are not air tight) We'd have the pastry & coffee in the room (mods & deluxe have coffee makers in the room. When we stayed at POP we took our own coffee maker with us.)

Otherwise, all resort food courts or counter service have some breakfast pastries - like fruit turnovers, chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls and the like.

Not exactly a nutritious breakfast...but we tried to get a small box of donuts at boardwalk with a snack credit (as it was under $4.00) and the CM yelled at us and said "It has to be under $4.00 AND an individual serving!!!!"

She was red faced and screeching when I dared to ask what constituted a "single serving". I mean....my 18 year old 6'4" son could eat an entire box of donuts by himself. HA!:rotfl2:

We did use snack credits at AllStars for fruit and cereal, however.

Before January 1, 2008, use of snack credits was permitted to purchase items packaged for multiple servings such as a box of donuts, large bag of chips, half gallon of milk, as long as the item cost $4 or under. This was discontinued last year. Only single serving packaging is now permitted.

Individual boxes of cereal are usually cited as a snack and if I am correct in what I have been reading, you can have milk with it.
