Gifts for special CM's

I was just wondering if anyone gives those special CM's anything as a gift when they do that something special?

I am going to the dollar store & pick up some Canada lanyards & Canada flag pins for any cast members who do something special for us.

Does anyone have anything they do?

We don't do anything now other than a 'thank you' but i love your idea!

I'll be definetly stopping by Dollarama to pick up some Canadian stuff to give those CMs who go the extra mile.

We make little cardstock than you's with stickers on them. They are small enought to fit in the self laminating pouches from the dollar stores. I than stick a Canada pin from the dollar store onto it. We hand these out to the special CM's we meet along the way.

We bring individually sized Quebec maple syrup. The CMs love the gesture.

No, but we do try to do something if we feel that they have done something that is extra.

For instance, if we are in a restaurant and our waiter/waitress does something that we feel is great, we will increase her tip, let her know how much we appreciate her special gesture and definitely speak to the manager about it. Sometimes, the manager seems a little leery when we ask for him/her until they hear what we have to say. A lot of them usually thanks us for the praise because apparently, people will take the time to complain but not many take the time to compliment a waitstaff. We had a wonderful CM at Coral Reef and when we spoke to the manager, he was ecstatic and was so grateful for our comments.:)

In other cases, if I find that the resort CMs are being great, I usually speak to the check in area or guest relations.

I wish there was a comment area for guests at the parks or resorts so they can take a few minutes to let Disney know of a particular CM that has made their day.:)

What a great idea! I swear I'd never heard of that in all three trips we've done. If (oh, who am I kidding? when) we go again, I'm doing that.

When I worked in the Canadian Pav back in 03-04, I had a family give me a business card size card thanking me for making their trip magical. That was it...just a little card. I still have it to this day. Too cute.
