Mixed emotions about why I had to cancel my Sept. cruise

I am very sad to report that I have cancelled my Sept. 21st 7-day cruise :( I literally could have cried! BUT I am very excited to announce why - I am pregnant with our first child! Apparently, Disney has something against big, fat, pregnant women on their ships;) Ironically, the reason I planned this cruise is because we knew we wanted children but I "needed to get one more cruise out of my system before I have a baby." Oh well, in the mean time, I will be waiting on the 2004 schedule to come out and reading all of your threads for trips that are right around the corner. I promise I won't have too much resentment!!

Just think of all the fun you will have when your little one is here and you can take them on the cruise. My kids just love it!!!

I am right there with you. My husband and I were planning to take the new itenarary this Spring, but two months after we got home from our Sept. 2001 seven-day, we found out that we were expecting our first as well (July 3rd), so that kinda cancelled that plan. :bounce:

While we are thrilled with the reason we couldn't take the cruise, I have to admit that I am going into withdrawl. We did a three day in 2000 (part of our honeymoon) and two seven-day cruises in 2001. Now, 2002 will be a cruise-free year!

We are planning to go again either Spring or Fall of 2003. It will be totally different with a little one!

CONGRATULATIONS KELLY + KATHY! You'll look back and not be a bit disappointed that you missed out on these cancelled cruises. Having those new lil' ones will give you every reason to make up for the missed cruises later. So happy for the both of you.

Congratulations to both of you on your upcoming DISers. Kathy.....I did the math and is it possible that it was due to the Magic cruise in '01 that you're in this predicament? ;)

You have wonderful things to look forward to as family vacations are the best. Plus you'll have the opportunity to use those areas on the ship that you've never experienced before.....Flounder's Reef and the Oceaneer's Club on your next cruises.
