[This thread should've been titled "Recent TS Diners -- Which TS places have peanuts on the menu?" I posted a similar thread in the restaurants forum and they said disABILITIES might be a better place]
We do have a number of alerts and notes assoc with all our ADRs, and I trust the chefs know what they're doing. That said, I am still curious about the places that have loose peanuts or open containers of PB laying around.
For example, does Goofy's place (in MK?) which makes confections actually offer crushed peanuts as a made-to-order topping choice for caramel apples, or as sprinkles? If so, this would be an example of a place I'd avoid no matter what.
Not trying to avoid entering all TS places that have any sort of nut -- just peanuts. Without going too much into detail, suffice it to say I have a special curiosity in knowing if peanutty foods appear on the menu. I am somehow less intrigued with TS places that offer Uncrustables PB&J kid sandwiches. (too long for me to explain reasons) than places where they are actually working with peanut foods by hand.
Also does anyone know what TS place is famous for a PB&J (or PB) milkshake? That would be another example of a place I'd probably avoid.

you can use that to search for a variety of terms.
FAQs has the number and email address to contact and they can contact you about what restaurants have peanuts and peanut products on their menu.
Goofy's Candy Co. is the name of the confectionary. Any confectionary that sells candied apples will probably also sell them with nuts of some sort, usually peanuts. The following is an article discribing the confectionary located in Downtown Disney at WDW.

Food fanatics like me can spend all day on that thread and the first page shows one of the treats that you add goodies to.

Yes, Goofy's does have peanuts as a topping choice, so cross contamination is very possible there. Also, the candy store on Main Street in the MK might use peanuts as well (can't remember, sorry). I believe Sci Fi (DHS) has those PB shakes everyone talks about, and Beaches and Cream uses peanuts as well. Not sure about the Plaza (MK), but since they serve shakes and sundaes, it's likely they offer peanuts too.

You can go through that list for uncrustables.

Allears and Disboards have the menu that was last updated 12/08 and talkdisney has theirs as of 2/08. All three only list chocolate and vanilla shakes. Nalla is WDW wise so they may still be making them. Back to the hunt for peanuts.

The buffets at Crystal Palce etc. USED to have PB in a bowl for sandwiches but in the last 3 visits Crystal palace, Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park faire DID NOT have open containers of PB- I would call and double check as sometimes I see things that are different each time- ( and we go a lot)
The candy shop on main street did have peanut options for the pretzels but i haven't wandered in there in a while so that may have changed.
I will ask hubby if he knows of anywhere else we may have seen PB
and post later:)

Thx for all the replies so far. This is what I was looking for. I looked at the DIS menus (wdwinfo menus) but some of them are one or two years old.
Dining out is a big deal for us. It is our first trip to WDW too.
Does anyone recall satay sauces @ Kona? (The wdwinfo menu is from 3/08)
Thanks again,.

List any restaurants you need to know about, and I'll go look. I've got early shifts all this week, and two days off. Basically, I'll have LOTS of time to kill, and I like poking around. I can take pics of the menus if you want, or just let me know specifcally what to look for, and I'll let you know. :)
And I knew the PB milkshake thing from last year, I'll check that again. Kona I can check tomorrow since I'll be at the Poly.
Let me know of anywhere else, I'll be happy to look around for you :)

Thank you so much! I saw some new menus on the WDW site and on allears, so that was good! If you do have a chance, I would love to know if the following buffets (still?) have open tubs of peanut butter laying about at any of their serving hours: Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys . (ie if you told me that CP only leaves PB out at dinner time, but not at breakfast or lunch, it would deter us from going there in any case). We are not yet comfortable eating around open tubs of PB which are accessible to everyone.

No problem, I'll check those after work tomorrow, since I work in the Poly both of those are close. :)
And I couldn't figure out about the Kona sauces, but that's probably because I went into work really early today. After work tomorrow (when I remember a change of clothes so I can walk around lol) I'll check all those things.

Tusker House buffet at AK had a big tub of peanut butter at child's height when I was there last year. It was kind of messy around it (end of lunch).
