Weeds are Dead...now what!

Ok, I sprayed the big weed pile I had out in backyard and they are now sagging. My question is, what do I do next. Am I supposed to dig them up, leave them, pull off the leaves? Also, is this something I'll have to do each year, or are they truly dead!!??

We have about 1.5 acres that we leave "natural," aka weeds. :D I have discovered that letting the tall weeds die all the way to brown and then raking them works well. Then I can get to the little ones that have just started. I also discovered that weeds with runners will take over again and again and again. Also, any little speck of dirt without a plant or mulch will be a magnet for that tall, crab grassy stuff.

I know it isn't exactly the "fun" part about gardening, but I would dig them up (I'd probably have DH do it...lol), and put them out for your yard waste disposal pickup.
I'm sure some will return, but eventually you'll get the upper hand......I hope!! :)
