Hi Folks:Wave:

For those on the Western Inaugural. I was wondering if anyone was dissapointed with the available menu for this night? It seemed to me that a more traditional menu offering of Mexican vs. Carribean food would have been available. Since we ate in our assigned dining room, I am not sure whether Enchiladas, beans and rice, tacos, burritos and other MEXICAN food was available at Topsiders, however we were expecting something other than what was offered on the menus. The menu was acceptable but not highly appropriate in my opinion. Any other thoughts out there?

Joe, we kind of thought the same thing. DH had wanted to stay in Cozumel and eat, but that was the night I was seasick, so I wasn't going back out again! Of course, I wouldn't have been able to eat Mexican food, feeling the way I did, but we expected to have the option.

DH did say that there was some Mexican food on the buffet late that night.

What kind of food was offered on the menu. I remember reading that Disney wasn't going to offer just Mexican food on this night but a variety of Caribbean foods from the islands.

Just wondering what was offered.

Hi Folks:wave:
I was sick as well and only got through the barbecued chicken leg appitizer. Go figure, would have liked to have a nice Quesadilla with Monterey Jack cheese and an order of beans. Joanne stayed for dinner and had beef tenderloins...not a nice big Chimichanga with guacamole and sour cream. Her appitizer was not too Mexican either, maybe a butter croisant? Dessert was Pina Colada Bread Pudding not Mexican fried Ice cream? I am still seething! Take the Carribean menu and put it on the shelf. If not changed I will not go next year, period!
