I made this Fish Extender for my DS, Ddil, and DGkiddies......
I bought the 'pockets' at Target for $1.00 each and the material from Jo Ann's. Hope they like it! :cheer2:

Cute! I just bought fabric to make a fish extender for our trip in 2-1/2 weeks -- hope I'm not in over my head. I don't really sew, but I did make 70 pillows for the school band out of the old band capes and sashes, so I'm going to translate that (beginner's luck) success into enough confidence to make this! I couldn't spend the $30-$40 I saw them for on ebay. Where at Target did you find the pockets? I thought I'd just make them myself, but I'd rather buy them if they were cheap enough. I want to use a transfer on the pockets to put individual names -- I hope it'll work and be cute!

The pockets were in the $1.00 section, my local Micheal's had pockets also.
Have fun!
