Either DS bball game (which got bumped last time) or I might take the kids to walk on the pond before it thaws this weekend.
I made some progress -- I did the journaling for my first set of photos -- Jan 1 -13. It went very well I think, except I put the wrong date on one card. I am going to order more photos today and start the journaling on the rest. Nothing is in the album yet. I also have to start counting appearances in the album. I don't want kids with hurt feelings!

Well, DH is out of town and DS is at a drama meeting and then will be with his friends so I'm having a scrap day. I'll take a picture of something to do with my scrapping, either the messy table or something I've made.

It will be preparations for the party tomorrow- I don't know if it will be cleaning, dishes set out, or food prep stuff but something with that.

I just took one of ds14 and his friend who is over. The boys go to different schools right now but used to be together - they will be together in the Fall when ds goes up to the high school. What is so cool about it is that they are both Asperger's kids and friendships are very hard for those types of kids. But they get along great and it warms my heart to see ds with FRIENDS!! :goodvibes

NEE - Have a GREAT time at the Polynesian! We love that resort! I could sure go for some walks around the paths with the lighted tiki torches right about now...sigh..

NEE--HAVE FUN!!!
I took 2 different ones today, so I'm not sure. My brother came over to ride with DH to help my parents. So, I got one of DS with his "Unca". Then, though, I was playing with DS in the floor, and I was also looking at a scrapbook (go figure). I heard him laugh, and I looked over, and he had ROLLED OVER for the first time all on his own on the floor! So, I got pics of him looking proud of himself on the floor! ;)

I find myself in the same situation often. Someone on Becky's blog posted that they were using the trifold journal cards for days with too many photos.

Today I'll probably be using a photo from the beginning of January.
It will be of my DD and her Great Grandad. My DH's Grandad passed away this morning and it will be a nice reminder of him in our album for this year. :sad1:
