Blue Lagoon - New addition to Half Board Plus?

Hi All!

Just browsing and meal planning for our Feb Trip and noticed on the magical kingdom website that the Blue Lagoon resturant has been added to the HB Plus option (well it wasnt on the list i had printed before anyhow)


Oh No! :confused3 That gives me a quandary as i hadnt even considered this restaurant!! Please help!! The reviews seem to be mixed. Could anyone let me know what your thoughts are?:grouphug:

I'm one of its positive reviewers! :thumbsup2 We really enjoyed our meal in the Blue Lagoon very much... The atmosphere was fantastic and it was brilliant to dine in the ride itself! Food was fantastic, would go back in a heartbeat!

The menu looks gorgeous and location fab!!
One of the reviews i read about mice in the resturant but i will put that to the back of my mind!!!
Trouble is now my list of possible places to eat is tooo long!! pixiedust: :crowded:

I can honestly say we never ever saw a single mouse in DLRP at all....

I can't seem to find this anywhere as I would like to go there if it is available. Does anyone else know what changes if any are coming to the HB+ vouchers starting in April with the new celebration?:confused3

And I'm one of the negative reviewers! Undoubtedly a lovely setting, but poor service and distinctly odd or even unpleasant food for us on two occasions. Previously it had been one of our favourites which made it all the more of a disappointment for us. If I were to go again, which is unlikely, I would stick to something very plain like a steak which they'd be unlikely to do strange things to! Didn't see any mice though.

You're not the only one!

The chicken curry was the equivilent of a boil in the bag meal, with a little garnish :sad2:

My wife was very ill with food poisoning after eating there :crazy2:

The brochure which includes the dates from 7th November 2008 up to and including 8th November 2009 has the Blue Lagoon on its half board plus list. But I have a copy of the older brochure, running from June 08 to April 09, and it was on half board premium. So does it change in April this year?

Have only eaten here once a few years ago and had the steak with lemon potatoes for main course and the sugar coated expedition for dessert it was and still is the best meal I've had at the park. Fabulous food in a fabulous location. :thumbsup2
