just curious what the difference is when renting points to either DVC members or to non-DVC members. Is it that you transfer the points to DVC members and for non-DVC members you actually have to make the reservations for them.

With members and non members alike, you can make the reservation under your points in their name. With members you may also be able to transfer the points to them assuming they are not banked or borrowed.
