Apologies if this is not actually 'new', but I've only just discovered it so it's new to me!

I've just downloaded the latest version of Google Earth and there is a new feature. If you go to a place (a Disney park, say ;) ) and click on the 'clock' button above the image, it brings up a slider. By sliding it back and forth you can see aerial views from the past.

So, in California you can slide the bar back and see California Adventure become a car park.

In Orlando, you can see Expedition Everest, and then the entire Animal Kingdom disappear. (The earliest image is the land cleared prior to construction). In Epcot, you can see Mission: Space turn into Horizons (but let's not go there...). And in Hong Kong you can see the park turn into the sea (it was built on reclaimed land).

Wierdly, the current image in Hong Kong shows the park being built. But if you slide it back to 2006 then you can see the finished park. Hmmm. :scratchin

Other things to look out for:
- the Backlot at MGM, before 'Lights, Motors, Action' was built
- the Fantasmic stadium (previously a car park)
- the Hat at MGM
- Fantasia Gardens
- the Boardwalk under construction
- the Subs at the Magic Kingdom!:)

Too bad you can't slide it to a picture of what's coming in the future! And too bad Mission: Space isn't really changing back into Horizons. But a cool feature, nonetheless! Thanks!
