So, I wake up and I'm thinking it's a little bit chilly...

Last year we had to get a new heater, and the guy was out on Tuesday to check it...everything was fine... Now today I get up and the thermostat says

"The thremostat setting is 69 degrees. The indoor temperature is 64 degrees"

:confused3 JUST GREAT!!! Oh, and yes the thermostat does talk. They replaced my old one when I got the new heater, and this one talks. I had a few nice things to say to the little man that was talking this morning!

So, I guess my day is changing a bit now...

So, I call what is supposed to be the emergency line. He says they will be in the office at 8am. Me, "Why is this the emergency line then?" "WELL", says the guy, "I could have called the dispatcher, but emergency cut off is 5am." OMG, you're killing me here! And this company's big advertisement is "Boulden's 1-hour Service" What a crock of you know!!!

Oh no Debbie! We are going to be waiting on the furnance people again... what the heck! It's -3 here this morning and our kids are going to school on time.... I'm so glad I got a good driver...she tells us as soon as it gets cold..don't send those kids out that door until I've stopped at your house... I don't even know what the wind chill is.... I mean a 2 hour delay is better than dozens of sick kids!!!

dishwasher unload
dishwasher loaded (small amt. not enough to run till tonight)
make dinner up tonight as I won't be here (spaghetti)

while making DD's bed..cleaned her room...took 1.5 hours! The kid is NEVER home except to sleep...why does she just drop things in that room....I found about 15 pairs of socks!!!

DD has 2 changes of clothes (Amb. Clothes/Warm up for BB/uniforms)

Repairman has come and gone. The guy who was here on Tuesday, for maintainance check, installed a switch. It is to prevent flooding if the pipe froze. It shuts off the system. Well, it was frigging cold last night, the pipe froze, and the switch did it's job. OR we would have had water in the basement.

SOOOOO, the guy comes, and knew right away. Took his screw driver, and knocked the ice out of the pipe, and boom, the thing is working again...

So, now I'm making the cuppy cakes for DS16 for tonight. His best friend is supposed to be dropped off at the house, and DS16 has no idea! :hyper: And then we are all going to his fav restaurant, Hibachi. DS20, his way too cute DGF, and DsS26 are supposed to meet us there. So, it will be a nice surprise for DS16, who was oh so sad that no one would be home to celebrate his Bday tomorrow :teeth:

He was doing a strep test and he kept that stick poking around in my throat way too long and I threw up all over his legs and shoes!! I don't do well with strep tests anymore. My throat closes up as soon as they come at me with that stick!:sad2:

My little guy is still feeling yucky. I had to wake him to go get DD from school. We usually walk to get her (school is 3 blocks away), I offered to drive today and he insisted we walk. Guess who got to carry a little boy most of the way there and all the way back??? Poor little man.

Yes, she is doing well!!! They are headed back home.. stopped by Major Hospital for the Cabbage Patch kids and were able to see 2 births today!!! They went to Stone Mountain last night to sight-see.. Went to visit w/ some of MIL's friends and check out the old stomping grounds. They were going to see how far they got tonight and decided when to call it a night and grab a hotel!

I'm here. Last two mornings I didn't get any me time. Yesterday I oversleep:crazy2: Today, DD was up early miserable with a cold.

I got a few texts from Buffy today. They are around Ashville, NC or SC. They are taking their time coming home with hopes of avoided this durn cold. brrr. She seemed okay. I was sidetracked with Princess Mia princess: sending me love messages.
