I took some pictures of the Meadows Trading Post for those who might not have visited FW yet or just want to know what type of goodies they enjoy.

There are a couple of aisles of dry goods with many camping items that you might have forgotten.:confused3

Plenty of beer and wine, but bring plenty of $$$ :lmao:

More liquid

You can find a quick meal here including frozen pizza
http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/ppp8815/DSC_0039.jpg
Yogurt, lunch meats, cheese, butter and more
http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/ppp8815/DSC_0033.jpg
This was the extent of the Fort Wilderness coffee mugs. Hmmmm
http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/ppp8815/DSC_0035.jpg
These were on sale for only $ 2.99 each
http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/ppp8815/DSC_0037.jpg
Cups galore, but very few Fort Wilderness items
http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo96/ppp8815/DSC_0036.jpg
Now this is a souvenir!

You can even stop and play a game of checkers
Yes, the prices are higher, some VERY high, but the atmosphere is great. You can grab a hot of coffee, the morning paper and set outside and enjoy the surroundings. :coffee:
Also available is hard liquor, (behind the service counter), candy, cookies, post cards, games, hats, t-shirts and more.
This is the only place within the Fort that you can actually drive a car/truck to, but parking is for only 15 minutes. Special golf cart parking is right near the front door.
Hope you enjoyed the mini tour.
