Home Depot - sale on hanging plants

took a run by Home Depot at lunch and they have 10 inch hanging plants on sale for $6.99! (Gee I think I paid about $20 each last year at a garden shop!)

I got three right off the truck and they are beautiful

Just wanted to share the info with my new flower buds!

Was there when they were unloading the truck too. I never saw plants sell so fast, as soon as they hit the ground they were in someones cart.

Reminded me of the bridal dress sale at Filene's Basement in Downtown Boston. Thats an experience and a half. Where else could you find exclusive bridal dresses for $250.00 so what if you black and blue after.

Eeeek! I made the *mistake* of stopping by Home Depot as well. I didn't think anything of it - their sale paper said their hanging baskets were $9.99. Well, there was a ruckus going on when I pulled up! :eek: The delivery truck had just pulled in and there was a mob of people around it. Why? I turn to see a big sign: HANGING BASKETS $4.74 Oh my - there were people pushing and shoving and yelling - I grabbed a beautiful dark purple wave petunia basket and high-tailed it to the register. I wanted to look some more - there was a huge selection, but you couldn't get thru the mob. There was even a guy trying to climb into the truck to get first dibs on what was in there. Craziness!!

Hey! I just got back from Home depot. They were $3.97 here in upstate NY! I almost keeled over. Anywhere else they're $10-$15!! I went crazy and have more than I know what to do with. They were all full and beautiful.

I just want to thank everyone on this board. I've been lurking a few months but I've had bad luck with anything green in the past. I'm hoping I can keep these flowers alive this year. With all your helpful tips I can't go wrong!
