holes in KTTW cards

any consensus on the wisdom of punching a hole in the KTTW cards do they can be hooked on a lanyard?

On our 7/28/01 - I brought a hole punch ( .99cents at the supermarket) and punched holes in our party of 11's KTTW cards - as we waited in line to board - then put them on our Coca-Cola Lanyards that we brought with us, and were set to go! (You just have to make sure you don't punch the metallic strip.) This way we always had them handy and our DS"s 11 & 6 had less trouble misplacing them.

I'm not sure if that is what DH and I will do in Nov - since adults need a photo ID - when getting off and on the ship - I may purchase the lanyards that have the little plastic pouch to put the KTTW's and ID in - I'll bring the punch anyway for our boys!
