On the DDP your dessert is included, but if I'm full I may not want to eat it right away; I usually like it an hour or two later. I know with CS that since it's usually a cookie or something similar if I bring a ziploc I can throw it in my bag to have as a snack later but is it possible to get dessert "to go" at the TS restaurants - especially since this is part of the DDP credit or do you have to use the whole of the credit while at the restaurant? I know this probably won't work at buffets, but we have ADRs at Chefs de France and Tutto Italia. TIA

They will pack up your dessert in a to-go box for you at the TS! No need to carry a ziplock, most desserts would be squished. Even the chocolate cake at the CS is packaged to go.

Yeah! :cool1: The thought of taking our desert to go and later eating it on the balcony at our resort while relaxing with a drink and letting the kids watch TV is very pleasing. We're staying at the YC so taking it back to our room after dinner at Epcot will be a breeze.

We love take out deserts. We were sad to find that most of the TS places don't do take out meals. I have a handicapped brother and he was very tired on our last trip. We had to beg to get take out from Olivia's. It was most upsetting that they wouldn't accomodate us but finally did after many phone calls and finally going down there. The TS places in the resorts certainly should offer this as many people are tired and just want to eat and relax in their rooms.

We're actually planning on getting most of our dinner desserts to go. With 3 kids under 4, we're generally going to head back to the room after dinner most nights, rather than staying to closing, and we can have our desserts after the kids go to sleep and we're just unwinding.
On our arrival night (we're staying at POR), we expect (weather and kids' temperaments permitting) to take our desserts from Boatwright's over to the Old Man Island campfire story time.
