Hey everybody!!! I figured I would start this today since I was able to book my ADRS:cool1: I got everything I wanted.

Were going to be staying at AKV, just a studio Savannah view. This will be our first time staying there.

Here is where we will be eating!

May 3- Ohanas, that is always a must on the first night
May 4- Sci Fi Lunch (Tim loves it there) 50s PTC dinner(first time there)
May 5- Biergarten Lunch Tutto dinner
May 6- Jiko
May 7- Cali grille anniversary dinner
May 8- Chef mickey's breakfast Coral Reef dinner
May 9- Le Cellier
May 10- Yachtsman Steak house
May 11- Kona

You know I'm getting my butt over to the Poly for some Tonga Toast on some of the mornings lol!

Now do you all think I should do the Deluxe or basic DP? we have a couple of 2 TS meals so that would be the reason why I would get it.

Some fun tours planned and booked!
May 6 we are doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour
May 7 we are going the epcot segway tour

I called the Boardwalk Bakery today and was able to order our anniversary cake. We are just going to pick it up the morning of May 7th. The woman I spoke with was so funny. She remembered my wedding cake because I'm the only one who has gotten a Chocolate chip batter. YUM it was soo good. Filling is going to be chocolate mousse. I just told her to make it pretty, it's going to be a 10 inch round cake with buttercream frosting.

I want to make a cute shirt to wear on our anniversary just not sure how I want to design it yet.

YAY 3 more months!! Can't wait!

If I were you I would go to the menus and calculate the cost based on what you like to eat. Looks like a dxddp to me then you don't have to buy mugs. Jiko is delicious Lynn, we ate there the first night at AKV in October, the filet and macaroni is yummo!!!!!!Will the animals be back on the savannah? DId you guys book Kidani or Jambo.

Yeah I love it and so does Tim. I'm a picky eater who does not like anything crazy and out there. I prefer the lunch over dinner. They have good soups, I think it is a chicken noodle, mac and cheese, chicken and Tim loves all the different types of meats.

I'm glad you began with the food, that's one of our favorite parts of WDW! Our trips will be overlapping. We are going for our 7th anniversary (May 10th)! Kel I'm very happy we were able to get what we wanted!! I feel so much better now that is is all booked!

Yeah we did book the sweetheart table and it is covered by the Dining Plan. I did not know that. That was what the CM told me on the phone so we shall see. I know I want to know what is on the menu. If the fillet is not on there then I'm not going to get it lol. Oh I also want to know what the dessert for 2 is.

I'm not sure if we are going to watch wishes from the poly beach that night because the park closes at 10 or 11 and our ressie is aound 7 I think so we may just go to MK that night and watch them at my favorite spot, right in front of the castle. Our last night when we eat at Kona I think we will watch them from the beach.

Girl our cake was soooo yummy! Can not wait to have it again! Hey I'm thinking about doing a semi live TR so it might be done by the 15th... or at least halfway done!!

I want to start planning my ADR's but we don't go until Nov 25th, do you think I'm too early to start planning on paper :rotfl2: We're just doing the 1 TS and 1 CS a day plus snack. I have three kids (ages at time of trip will be 10, 8 and 4). Now my now 9 year old can sometimes eat me under the table so him I'm not worried about but then again the other kids will eat from kiddie menus, I think my soon to be 10 year old won't eat off the kiddie menu. I want to eat at Germany too but I have to see what is there for the kids.

HEY GUYS!!!! Just booked my air!!! Went to Southwest.com... I have been checking everyday for the prices to go down and they did!!! We got the first flight that morning:banana: for $99 and the late flight going home for $59!!!!! YAY!!!!

I don't know how much you are looking to spend, but I highly recommend a Canon Digital Rebel XTI (they run about $600 on Amazon.) Its a digital SLR, so it isn't a point and shoot, but it is pretty easy to learn all the functions. The downside is that since its an SLR, it is pretty bulky. It does take amazing pictures of the fireworks though.

Can you tell me was this on automatic? or did you use your own settings? I am new the the SLR world!

I don't have any shots to share and won't until after our September trip, but I have a Nikin D60 and LOVE it! I do photography on the side (engagements, bridals, family portraits, etc.) and opted for a Nikon instead of a Canon. I like Canons too, but they're normally a bit more expensive and my professional photographer friends stick with those. They all said I'd get great results with my Nikon, which I do.

If you can afford one of the nicer Canon SLRs, go for it. If not, the Nikons are wonderful just the same!

Hey there, fellow May-traveler! :)

I have a Canon S5 IS (that's for Image Stabilization, which helps the camera grab the shot despite some shaky hands). It was about $300 on Amazon. I'm no photographer, but I find it VERY easy to use. It's a step below an SLR, but it's a step above a point-and-shoot. It's not as bulky as an SLR, but it won't fit in a pocket.

Here are some shots of Wishes. This was on sports mode, which allowed me to take a shot every second or so (literally). I ended up with lots of pictures I couldn't use, but that made sure I got those fabulous in-between shots that we all want of Wishes. Here are some of the shots:

I use automatic focus, but I change up the ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and picture style. I honestly can't remember what I used for those pictures as I was changing it so frequently until I found a combination of settings that worked well for me. I got so many amazing pictures that day though, even if I did spend a lot of time playing with my camera settings :rolleyes:

SO I went shopping today and found a really cute dress and top at American Eagle today. I'm so going back and getting more.
the dress I'm going to wear to dinner on our Anniversary. It reminded me of the Cali Grille for some reason!

I bought a canon power shot at circuit city during the going out of business sale. It is pictured on my pre-trip report if you want to take a look at it,
I think it will take me a long time to realize everything itdoes...it can do everything, including fireworks pictures as it has a very high iso setting.
The lowest price I could find online was over $100 more than I paid at circuit city. All manufacturers warranties are in full effect. If you have one near you it is worth checking it out!!

Go to ritz or wolfe camera and check them out side by side. The d40 you can get for alot cheaper. I think you will love it!

Well I DID IT!!!! WOO HOO!! I'm so excited lol!! Sounds so small but I'm extremely proud of myself!

IDK if I posted this yet but we decided on a camera. We are going to get the Canon Rebel XS. When I found out the Nikon D40 does not have auto focus that changed my mind. I have used Canon in the past and love it.

Ok so now I'm all confused... people are telling me the D40 doesn't have auto focus and now some people are lol!! Some say get the D40 some say get the Canon. I really want the Canon though because I have used canon in the past.

Coreect me if I am worng but I remember seeing a post (maybe in your PJ?) about your DH being a Pin-Aholic now? My DF is toying with the idea of becoming one too lol! He was all about wearing the lanyard on the last trip (buit it came in pretty handy b/c he got the little pouch for it which held our tickets and fastpasses really well:thumbsup2)

I first found your fall trip report, which led me to your dining review report, and then to your wedding report. I had to wade through to the 2nd or 3rd page of the PTR subforum to find your report, but it was well worth it! I enjoy reading about your excitement, seeing all of your pictures, being amazed by all of the pins Tim gets (BTW - I love DD too. Only instead of pins, I have knick knacks!!) Itinerary

May 3- Our flight is at 7:20 AM so we will be in Orlando around 9:30 AM. I think we will get to Disney by noon.

After we check in we are going to head straight to DTD and make our anniversary shirt at the Design a Tee store. I want to get there early and do it because I think later at night it will be busy. Right after that were hitting Magic Kingdom.

Lunch- Cosmic Rays! This is a tradition for us!!

Dinner- Ohana!! Also a tradition. Ohana is always our first dinner. Wishes is not till ten so we will hop on the monorail and watch Wishes in the park.

This is an EMH night so the park is open till 1 AM!! We will see if we last that long. I love EMH evenings in the MK. So much fun!

May 4- DHS day! We are going to go to rope drop! The park is open 9-7 and EMH at night from 7-10! YAY

First thing we do is head to TSM and go on when the line is short. As soon as we get off were going to grab a FP.

Lunch- Sci Fi Diner- Were going to see how we feel that day. We may cancel this. Tim really wants to go here so most likely we will go. We have fun there.

Dinner- 50s PTC- I'm excited about this. This is our first time going there! Can't wait to try the Pot Roast

May 5- This is Epcot day!

Breakfast- We are heading over to the POLY early for some Tonga Toast baby!! After that hopping on the monorail to head to Epcot! I can't wait to check out all the floral designs. I love Flower and Garden Festival. I actually like it better than Food and Wine. I want to try the new Kim Possible game cause I'm a dork lol.

Lunch- Biergarten!! We always have lunch here. We missed it in Oct so we can't wait. I love the mac and cheese there for some reason lol.

Dinner- Tutto Italia- YUM always a must. I want to try something different but I love love the Penne Caprese. I always get it.

We will end the night with Illuminations!! The past two trips we have not sat and enjoyed it, I know that is bad right!! We will be done dinner just in time for it. Italy is my favorite spot to sit in too.

May 6-Keys to the Kingdom Tour day!! We are doing the earliest tour! I can't wait to take pictures of an empty park!

Lunch- Will be at Columbia Harbour house. This is included with the tour.

After the tour we are going to head over to the Animal Kingdom for a little then head back to the resort to clean up for dinner.

Dinner- JIKO! So excited to try this place! I'm so getting the filet with mac and cheese. Depending on the time we get done dinner we may go to the pool or head to DTD.

May 7- ANNIVERSARY!!! In the morning we are doing the Segway Tour in Epcot! We're doing the early tour so we will have to take a taxi over to Epcot. That was what I was told on the phone when I booked the tour. It's at 7:45 AM.

After the tour we are going to walk over to the Boardwalk to pick up our cake!! YUM I can't wait to eat it.

I want to spend some time there and remember our wedding day:cloud9:Depending on the time we are done with the tour we may eat breakfast or lunch at the Boardwalk or we pick up our cake and head to DTD to go back to our resort. If we do that then lunch will be at

Lunch- Wolfgang Puck Express! After seeing all the amazing reviews of the place I have to eat there lol.

After lunch we will head back to the resort to put the cake away then go to MK. We spent our wedding day in the MK so we have to go there for our
anniversary!

Dinner- Cali Grille!!! This is our first time. We got the Sweetheart Table for Two package. You can choose from 3 apps. 3 entrees and a dessert for 2. I wish I knew what was on the menu though cause if the filet that everyone talks about is not on there then I don't want the package. The Dining Plan covers the package too so that's cool.

I have it timed so we can watch Wishes on the Balcony! So excited.

May 8- We have my favorite breakfast booked this day!!

Breakfast- Chef Mickeys!! We love it there.

We will most likely head over to the MK again or go straight to Epcot or maybe DTD. We shall see.

Epcot will be later in the day.

Dinner- Coral Reef!! Another favorite!! I just love it there.


May 9- I think I want to go to MK for rope drop so that I can get pictures with Tinkerbell. I know you have to get there early so there is not a long wait so rope drop it is. I also want to make it over to the POLY for some more Tonga Toast lol! We will see.

Lunch- I'm not sure yet, depends where we are.

Dinner- Le Cellier- I wanted to do this earlier in the week but they were all booked so oh well lol.

May 10- This is a whatever day. So whatever we want to do we will do.

Dinner- Yachtsman Steakhouse- This is our first time. I hope it's as good as everybody says it is. If we get out in time we are going to head over to DHS to watch Fantasmic. If the line is too long then we will just go on rides while everybody is watching Fantasmic.

May 11-Again a whatever day.

Dinner- Kona!!!!

We leave May 12. WAHHH. We have a late flight so we still will have some time in the World to have our last day of fun!

Things that I want to do-
-Photopass shoot at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
-I also heard about the photo sessions they do in the park now. I would LOVE to do that in the MK. I'm going to look into it.
-We may do a massage day at the Spa in AKL
-I have to see The Finding Nemo Show!!! I have yet to see it.
-Flights of wonder
- I want to head over to Rafiki's Planet Watch
-OOH and I have to get all of my autographs for my character picture. I'm going to take the picture and the matte for the frame to guest services and see if they can just get the siggys for me.
- We must hit Main St Bakery for breakfast! OOH maybe I will do that on May 9th instead of getting Tonga Toast again.
- DTD Earl of Sandwich is a must and so is Goofys!!

Every morning I plan on hitting the gym to get my runs in. I'm going to be eating a bunch of junk for 10 days lol so I have to stay in shape. I never really have a problem because I walk most of the junk off. I'm preparing to run the Half down in Disney in January so I also don't want to break my routine and not run for 10 days straight. Plus I love working out in hotel gyms anyway lol. I'm crazy, I know lol. So I will be getting up at 6(except for my tour days and obviously the day we leave) to run before we head out. I love waking up early to on vacation so it won't be a big problem.

And because I'm a crazy person...I'm bringing apples and bananas with us because I eat an apple and banana every single day. I have not been sick once this year and I swear it's because I eat an apple everyday. I'm crazy lol.

So I think that is it! We are almost 19 days away!!EEEEEK!!!!!:cool1:

Thanks for asking! Basically, since about week 6 I had been feeling completely :sick: ! It was pretty miserable, but since Wednesday of this week I have been much better. Still really tired and the mornings are tough but after 5 weeks of all day sickness, I am thankful for being even a bit better. I have just been praying to be better for our trip- only 23 days! :yay:

Lunch- Will be at Columbia Harbour house. This is included with the tour.

After the tour we are going to head over to the Animal Kingdom for a little then head back to the resort to clean up for dinner.

Dinner- JIKO! So excited to try this place! I'm so getting the filet with mac and cheese. Depending on the time we get done dinner we may go to the pool or head to DTD.

May 7- ANNIVERSARY!!! In the morning we are doing the Segway Tour in Epcot! We're doing the early tour so we will have to take a taxi over to Epcot. That was what I was told on the phone when I booked the tour. It's at 7:45 AM.

After the tour we are going to walk over to the Boardwalk to pick up our cake!! YUM I can't wait to eat it.

I want to spend some time there and remember our wedding day:cloud9:Depending on the time we are done with the tour we may eat breakfast or lunch at the Boardwalk or we pick up our cake and head to DTD to go back to our resort. If we do that then lunch will be at

Lunch- Wolfgang Puck Express! After seeing all the amazing reviews of the place I have to eat there lol.

After lunch we will head back to the resort to put the cake away then go to MK. We spent our wedding day in the MK so we have to go there for our
anniversary!

Dinner- Cali Grille!!! This is our first time. We got the Sweetheart Table for Two package. You can choose from 3 apps. 3 entrees and a dessert for 2. I wish I knew what was on the menu though cause if the filet that everyone talks about is not on there then I don't want the package. The Dining Plan covers the package too so that's cool.

I have it timed so we can watch Wishes on the Balcony! So excited.

May 8- We have my favorite breakfast booked this day!!

Breakfast- Chef Mickeys!! We love it there.

We will most likely head over to the MK again or go straight to Epcot or maybe DTD. We shall see.

Epcot will be later in the day.

Dinner- Coral Reef!! Another favorite!! I just love it there.


May 9- I think I want to go to MK for rope drop so that I can get pictures with Tinkerbell. I know you have to get there early so there is not a long wait so rope drop it is. I also want to make it over to the POLY for some more Tonga Toast lol! We will see.

Lunch- I'm not sure yet, depends where we are.

Dinner- Le Cellier- I wanted to do this earlier in the week but they were all booked so oh well lol.

May 10- This is a whatever day. So whatever we want to do we will do.

Dinner- Yachtsman Steakhouse- This is our first time. I hope it's as good as everybody says it is. If we get out in time we are going to head over to DHS to watch Fantasmic. If the line is too long then we will just go on rides while everybody is watching Fantasmic.

May 11-Again a whatever day.

Dinner- Kona!!!!

We leave May 12. WAHHH. We have a late flight so we still will have some time in the World to have our last day of fun!

Things that I want to do-
-Photopass shoot at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
-I also heard about the photo sessions they do in the park now. I would LOVE to do that in the MK. I'm going to look into it.
-We may do a massage day at the Spa in AKL
-I have to see The Finding Nemo Show!!! I have yet to see it.
-Flights of wonder
- I want to head over to Rafiki's Planet Watch
-OOH and I have to get all of my autographs for my character picture. I'm going to take the picture and the matte for the frame to guest services and see if they can just get the siggys for me.
- We must hit Main St Bakery for breakfast! OOH maybe I will do that on May 9th instead of getting Tonga Toast again.
- DTD Earl of Sandwich is a must and so is Goofys!!

Every morning I plan on hitting the gym to get my runs in. I'm going to be eating a bunch of junk for 10 days lol so I have to stay in shape. I never really have a problem because I walk most of the junk off. I'm preparing to run the Half down in Disney in January so I also don't want to break my routine and not run for 10 days straight. Plus I love working out in hotel gyms anyway lol. I'm crazy, I know lol. So I will be getting up at 6(except for my tour days and obviously the day we leave) to run before we head out. I love waking up early to on vacation so it won't be a big problem.

And because I'm a crazy person...I'm bringing apples and bananas with us because I eat an apple and banana every single day. I have not been sick once this year and I swear it's because I eat an apple everyday. I'm crazy lol.

So I think that is it! We are almost 19 days away!!EEEEEK!!!!!:cool1:

Sorry I didn't answer this in my other post. I don't shop at Gap so I wouldn't really know. I think AE runs normal. I shop at Express too and I feel they are the same as express. I can get an xs top from both stores and it fits the same. Same with bottoms too.
