I don't know if anyone has seen this or not, but you get a $100 DGC when you sign up and use your Disney Visa at least one time. It's the best deal I've seen yet!:thumbsup2 :cool1:

I'm so glad that I was a founding member and got NOTHING!! :rolleyes2 That's not true - I guess I got a "Day 1" member on the card - so much better than $100:rolleyes2 :rolleyes2

Me too! And I added on at AKV too early to get developer points too! I'm good at that.

We got ours last summer and the promo then was a $75 DGC so the new deal is even better. We used our GC for a meal at Tutto Italia in Epcot, it was great.

Didn't you get a pin too? We did. A few years ago, I got my own card, when the promotion was "so much" paid for the DVC maintenance fees. I'm going to ask DH to apply for one on his own now.

Me too - I don't remember anything extra special except that my card says Member Since Day 1. Maybe DH can apply for the new deal on his own!

Don't forget to refer people to get a $25 DGC for yourself! You have to give your id # (it's on your monthly statement) to your referral person and they have to mention it when they apply. I have 2 people at work going to Disney this year and they both applied, so hopefully I'll get another $50!:cool1:

I was also one of the "Day One" cardmembers who got nothing but a pin.

Same here. Mine says Day 1.. Big deal, I think I would rather have the $100. gift card.
What do you mean if you refer someone and get a $25. card?? If they sign up for DVC or the card?

If they sign up for the Disney Visa and they give your id # from your monthly Disney Visa statement as a reference you get a $25 gift card.

Can we get another one? I pay mine off every month. I could use another one for business? Anyone know if you do that, can you still get the $100. gift card?

I already have one and just signed up for another. I pay mine off every month so as long as I can be disciplined with this one too I'll have an extra $100 in my pocket for my next trip!:cool1:

Well I tried, but I doubt I will get one. We had to declare bankruptcy 5 years ago when DH's business of 10 years failed. Our credit numbers are way up and everything is hunky dory now, but they don't want any bankruptcy on your record at all. Kind of explains why every time I try to get one of these I don't (I've tried our last two trips, but at least I got a blanket and a backpack at Downtown Disney). This is the only card I used to have that I have not been able to replace.

Yes. I have the original Day One card and a couple years ago we got another one when they were giving $40 cards away for signing up.
