Just read a trip report where the room was stinky due to sewerage. Anyone else stay on deck 2 recently? did you also have the smell problem?

No smell, and no noise in these rooms, just the gentle hum of the engines!

No, the problems reported by Mjasp (www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=207820) are definitely <b><i>not</i></b> the norm.

My room was not stinky. The only problem I had was the VERY loud noise when we anchored, but i imagine that is a problem on all of the lower decks. The good news....you don't need an alarm on some port days...lol...

I noticed that the bathrooms have a lingering smell from the water that is not really bad but certainly different. This was true in our cabins on deck 2 and deck 7 and even in the public restrooms.

We have been on the Magic for a 4-day and 7-day cruise and always request a room on deck 2, midship. We have never smelled anything bad!

Have also been on a 4-day on the Wonder and experienced no smells on deck 2.

We like deck 2 midship because it's quiet, near the floors we use a lot and we can easily take the stairs.

We sailed on the Wonder 5/12 and had rooms 2600, 2602. 2600 had a slight smell coming from the shower area but 2602 had a much stronger smell. Both were a little noisey but not enough to keep you awake.:earsboy: :crazy:

We stayed in 2062 in April and NEVER smelled anything "stinky!" We loved being on deck 2 - just one flight down from the lobby, restaurants, etc. It was a wonderful location!

Deck 2 was great for location !! we have been on deck 2 twice now and 6 once. It was much better on 2:bounce:

We are staying in 2046 and 2048 on the 8/3/02 Western sailing. Does anybody have any info on these rooms. I know they are pretty close to Rockin Bar D, but are they extremely noisy?
