Last trip with AP's- 1-29 to 2-1 Park Vue LOTS of Pics!

princess: This is my last TR because our AP's expire today and we didn't renew. We have been 5 times this year:
Feb 08- HoJos (Me, DH, kids, My MIL, and my parents)
June 08- Dessert Inn and Suites (The kids and my mom, Fun trip!)
August 08- HoJos- (Just me and DH:) )
October 08- DLH (Me, DH, the kids)
Jan 09- Park Vue (Me, DH, Kids, my parents)

We loved the Park Vue and thought it was so nice being so close. I thought the rooms were clean but somewhat outdated. I think it would be our #1 pic since it's nice being so close. The breakfast was nice too.

So this trip's Cast Members:
Me: Sarah- Stay at home mom with 2 little princesses :laundy:
DH: Trevor- Hard working dad so he can pay for fun vacations.:drive:

DD: Paige is 4.5. She LOVES all things Disney but her #1 ride is Hanuted Manison Holiday. :)
DD: Abby is 2.5. This was our first trip with no diapers and she did so good!! No accidents (I potty trained her on 1-1-09)princess:

My Parents: Dorothy and Eldon. I am very lucky to have the best parents in the world. They brought me to Disneyland as a child many times and I have lots of good memories. :)

So we live near Modesto (about 340 miles away). We woke up at 6:00 am and were on the road at 6:30. This is what DH did to the car. lol

We get to the Park Vue about noon and they let us check in. Then we walked to Millies for lunch. YUMMY!!! Then it was off to Disneyland!:cool1:
Our first stop was Alice, teacups, Dumbo, Casey Jr, Carousel Storybook Land and then Peter Pan. The crouds were light since it was a Thursday afternoon and we didn't wait for more than 10 min.

We ate dinner at Rancho Del Zoro (sp?). It was OK. Every time I eat there the food is cold. :confused3 Still good.
After dinner we went on the Cars then watched Fantasmic. The girls LOVED it!! It was the first time they saw it since it was never running when we were there. Then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep. I didn't take many pics of this day but I did on the other days. :)

Day 2:
Picked up our strollers. We brought our own but LOVE the DL strollers. Plus we get free rental with the Disney Visa card

Then we went to Pixie Hollow. That was fun!! We waited about 30 min but it was worth it to meet Tink.

Then we walked over to CA to watch the Disney Live show and ride some rides. :)

Then we went out of the park and drove to lunch at PF Changs for lunch! YUMMY!! Then back to the hotel for naps.
When we got back to the park we went on some rides and then DH got a Turkey Leg for dinner!! OMG those things look so gross. I know people love them (like my DH) but I just can't get it. I had a Corn Dog at the stand on Main Street (YUMMY!!!) Pic of DH and his Turkey Leg

We had a great day. Went on more rides and just enjoyed the magic of Disneyland!! They had Fireworks this night and the kids had a hard time staying awake but they enjoyed them.

Our last day. We told DD she could meet the princesses and then choose 1 ride because we wanted to make it home early. When we walked in we saw Donald!! YAA!!

Paige's I bought at Kohls last week and Abby's I had custom made by a lady on e-bay. Paige wore it 2 years ago and now it was Abby's turn. :)

Yes 2010. :( 15 months!!! We bought AP's to Six Flags because it was much cheeper so we are going to take a year leave from Disney. My DD turns 6 in April 2010 so we told her we would go for her birthday. When we told her we wern't going back for a LONG time she was very sad (me too.)

We loved them! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was yummy too. It was very nice being so close to the park. We usually stay at HoJos but we wanted to be closer. HoJos is a little nicer (bigger rooms, better beds) but we would stay at Park Vue because of the very short walk. I liked it! Oh and they let us check in at noon and gave us joining rooms (my parents were with us). Nothing bad to say about Park Vue. :)

Great report! Glad you all had such a good time. We were probably there at least one day that you were. You were there on Friday, the 30th, right? It wsa so much more crowded than normal. Most of the local school districts were closed that day. Good thing you left early on Sunday. My DSis was going to go in for her birthday but when she saw the entrance lines to both parks meeting in the middle she skipped it. She got her free admission and upgraded it to an AP and we went on Tues for a few hours.
