We are already going to Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for the character meals. I really feel like Tusker House will be a repeat. DD 8 and DS 5 will like seeing the characters, but I feel like we will be eating the same meal 3 times. Would you do all 3? Which would you drop?

You'll have food items at Tusker that you can't get anywhere else. I'm not sure how I'd pick 2 of those 3...I'd be inclined to keep Tusker for sure, though.

My kids (7 and 4) had way more fun at Tusker house than Chef Mickey. The characters spent more time with the kids at Tusker House plus Goofy dances with them!

Daisy is at Donald's Safari Breakfast.
They have some different food items and the Jungle Juice is really good.

Donald's Breakfast is probably one of our favorite meals at Disney. It is definitely a must do for us. We love the characters and the food. But I really go for the juice. I absolutely love the stuff.

We have Tusker on our list too. We are visiting in July. I'd love to hear how your experience was if you choose to go there! Thanks!

Definitely go to Donald's Safari breakfast. :thumbsup2 I loved the character interaction with the kids. Not only do the characters come around , but the kids are given (how do I explain these)...African instruments I guess, and get up and dance with the characters. My kids LOVED this restaurant.

Ok, I'm in. I think we will plan for breakfast at Crystal Palace and Tusker House and move Chef Mickey to an evening meal. Thanks for the comments.

That's exactly what we are doing - really wanted to eat at Tuskers for breakfast in August but couldn't get in - book your ADR as soon as you can.

We just got back, did 3 character meals, and the Tusker breakfast was the best of the trip. We did a late breakfast, it worked out so well because the food items are unusual enough that we made it a brunch. Very good food and the character interaction was quieter, better paced, and relaxed compared to the other character meals.

Add us to the TH fans. It's been awhile since we ate at CM, so I won't comment on that one. We did eat at both TH & CP in Oct. Both ADRs were for 8:05 am. Most people on here say the food is the same at all character meal breakfasts. We would beg to differ. We all thought the food was much better quality at TH. We rarely do buffets, unless we have a 1st time visitor with us. When we decide to do another one, it will be TH.

My opinion is that with children any character meal is worth a TS credit. Their enjoyment or sometimes lack there of can make for priceless photo ops and memories.
Good suggestion to juggle the meals. You can actually do TH Breakfast, CP Lunch and Chef Mickey's Dinner.

I am so excited!!! TH is our very first character meal on our very first day at WDW. Our ADR is for 10:25, which looks like a great time! I'm glad to hear the food is good too!
