I am looking for feedback from anyone who has taken a group to WDW. can you use the discount codes for a group? do you have any tips for a group of about 40 people? thanks in advance for your feedback and help!

With that many rooms you would probably qualify for a group rate...similar to that offered to a convention. I think Disney might have a special division that handles that specifically. If you are thinking of booking at the Dolphin or Swan you could call their sales dept. and they will qoute you based on the number of rooms you need. You can often get very good prices that way.

I'm not sure if Dreams Unlimited might be able to handle something like that. Perhaps some of the moderators may know.

But I would definitely call the CRO and ask to talk to their group sales division. Explain what you want and I'm sure they will get you to the right person.

Granted, that isn't very informative, but it at least gives the website address and phone number for anyone who is planning a WDW group or convention type of function. I do know that for people hosting a Fairy Tale Wedding, there are group resort rates and group ticket rates. Will it be cheaper for you to book all the rooms yourself by using currently available discount codes? Maybe. And maybe not. Give Disney a call to see what they can do for you. By the way, I hope your group has a wonderful time at WDW. How fun!
