Vero Beach Next April

My home is VWL, but want to go to Vero Beach next April (Easter Week). Will this be impossible because I can't book it until 7 months out, and it will be Easter Week? I need a studio and a 2 bedroom.

You won't know until you call, but you may try to switch pts with an OKW owner and try to make a ressie now. Also, you can call MS now and find out what is available for Easter week.:rolleyes: I wouldn't get your hopes up on getting what you want at the 7 month window though.:(

The 2 BR might be tough. But, you could always book 3 Inn rooms or 3 studios and wait list for the 2 BR, or a 1 BR just in case.

I am in the same situation as you. We have never been to VB, but it sounded great for next year because our school vacation is unfortunately starting on good friday and I thought a whole week at WDW for Easter would be too crazy. We are staying 3 nights at WDW and then heading over to VB for 4 nights. However, I was lucky enough to get someone who was willing to exchange points. I booked a reservation for him and he started calling yesterday for me and so far he has had no trouble getting us the unit we want. I was told that getting anything besides a studio at the 7 month window would be impossible. I don't know how true this is, but what else do I have to go on.

If I couldn't get someone to make an exchange, I seriously thought of renting my points out so I could rent VB points. I know this sounds like a pain, but I love the thought that we can even do this. I would never have purchased into a timeshare without the flexibility that DVC gives us. Things always seem to work out with DVC, because of all of our options.
