We just got a call from our guide -- he said he was calling everyone that had purchased BLT points to let them know that a big announcement would be coming in about a week. He said that BLT would be opening sooner than expected and that reservations will also start sooner. He said to watch the member site for the big announcement!

I hope the big announcement has something to do with letting members who bought into BLT, purchase a small amount of points to supplement the vacation plans for next year.

I will def. keep checking the member site. I spoke to DVC today and they said that March 1 is probably changing and would probably be after the first. I told her we already have airline tickets for the first week of Sept. did she think they would be opening on time. She mentioned we might want to book another resort just in case.

I don't know about anybody else, but these days I start to reach down to protect my wallet whenever DVC starts talking about "a big announcement coming."
