When we were there in 2007, we saw Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch). She was pregnant and was waiting by the loading area at BTMRR. I later saw her walking around with her husband and child.

Saw Robert Plant in near TOT in DHS (then MGM) back in 2000 while there on my honeymoon. Great surprise because my wife is a HUGE Zepplin fan:thumbsup2

I have only seen two celebrities at WDW - one was a baseball player who I can't even remember his name and the other was the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. I saw both of them while I was working in Toontown. James Brown was wearing a purple leisure suit and riding an ECV! LOL!

when MGM first opened DH and I were there sometime around 89 or 90 or so, and we saw John Lithgow filming something. Dh had no idea who he was and I kept saying "but it's John Lithgow..you know John Lithgow" so now every time we see him on TV I yell, "its John Lithgow".

Oh we also John Travolta, hubby just reminded me of him...he was being interviewed by Michael Eisner for something....:cheer2:
We have only ever seen celebrities at our resorts. We saw Kelly Ripa with one of her children in a stroller & husband at our resort twice while we were there-BC/YC. We saw That guy who played J Peterman on Seinfeld working out in the gym one time while staying at the BWV. We did see Regis and Kelly filming the Christmas parade in 2003 and 2005 (along with the rest of the guests at the MK).

At Bucos D'or this past year during Food & Wine, we saw Al Roker, and one of the contestants was Hung from Top Chef on Bravo. Those are the only ones jumping to mind, unless you count the pre-shows for rides :-D

While working there I saw Kelly Ripa, Will Smith and Jayda Pinkett Smith, Clay Aiken, Dennis Quaid, and Michael Jackson.
As a guest I have seen Lance from NSYNC and his former boyfriend who was on the Amazing Race (my favorite show!). It was before he announced he was gay, and I saw them riding Dumbo!
I heard reports that Celine Dion was spotted Monday (I saw her in concert Wednesday in Tampa) and she is one I would LOVE to see in the parks!

Funny ~ I don't know if it is a regional thing or not... but I could really care less to see a "celebrity". I am more excited when I see someone I know from home! Like the barber or someone I went to HS with and haven't seen for years.
I am thinking it is a Maine thing... b/c most people I know here feel the same.
That being said .... to my knowledge I have not seen anyone... of course they would be just another guest to me and it probably wouldn't click. LOL!

we saw Reigs and Kathy Lee years ago obviously -at Victoria and Albert's.
We saw someone from Hill Street Blues, after the show was off the air-don't know his name.
We also saw Drew Carey at AKL.
My son is always wishing he'd see someone from the disney channel

In 2007 we saw Brenda Song filming a segment for Disney Channel's 365 at Mk. The highpoint of the trip however was when DD (then 16) and DH ended up riding Mission Space with Corbin Bleu and his dad. DD was in HEAVEN when Corbin smiled and said hi to her! :cool1: They were both there competing in the Disney Channel Games.

If you really want to see a celebrity.
Sit around City Hall at the MK in the morning.
Our tour guide told us, there are celebrities everyday at the MK.
Most will have a VIP guide and they meet their guides at City Hall.

In 1996 we saw Oprah in the Main Street parade. It was when she flew her entire audience to WDW.
Oh, and I saw Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Woody and Buzz, just to name a few...

I agree. While in Epcot, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a kid wearing an East Liverpool football tee shirt. We live in northern ohio and a few years earlier we had played them in football, they are nearer to west virginia. I was like "east liverpool ohio?" he said yes, and Im like "we're from chardon, good to see you." kinda neat..
Im the type of person who would approach a celebrity and strike up a convo..so better that I dont see one..:thumbsup2

Too funny... i live in Youngstown, half way between East Liverpool and Chardon. Anyway, we saw John Denver at MGM back in the early 90's but that was about it.

One year I saw Teddy Johnson (use to play for the Patriots) leaving AKL.
Then the next year I saw Elizabeth Hassleback at Boma's breakfast buffet.
Three years ago while waiting in the RNR gift shop for my family I saw Adam Vinaterie(also use to play for the Patriots) coming off the ride. I wanted to go up to him sooo bad but didn't want to interupt his family vacation.

HAHA, I have something like this. I was a server, and a couple of years ago taught an art class ... and ran into two of my girl's from art class at EPCOT. After I quit the one job, the became my "regulars" when I was a server. The Finding Nemo ride was pretty new, and the line was pretty long, but I noticed them from away's back. Anywho, as they were in their shell going past me I just stood there waving, with a stupid grin on my face. :wave2: The girls started screaming "OMG MOM it's Amanda! It's Amanda!"
LOL, I would have loved to know what the people around us were thinking.
They waited for me at the end of the ride and we chatted for a bit. I <3 those girls, they're just a great family. We still talk about the time we ran into each other at Disney. Even though we're only about 45 minutes away from the House of Mouse, it's still pretty good odds to run into someone you know, I think.

when I was working: Julie Andrews, Doug Flutie, Keyshawn Johnson, Gloria Estefan, and Sean Astin
around the park-ing: Drew Carey at ToT, Jim Caviezel on Main Street, Jump 5 (Christian kid pop group back in the day) in AK
intentional sightings...aka stalkings: Tom Brady after his MVP parade at DHS; Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Emmanuele Chiriqui (the trio from their movie On The Line) after their parade at DHS; Michael Phelps, Ian Crocker, and Lenny Krayzelberg after the 04 Olympics (Only Michael Phelps thinks its normal to walk around MK's hub with his shirt off hahaha); Jaime Sale and David Pelletier (the Canadian pairs skaters who got the gold after the treachery of the judging) in Canada.....
I can't remember anybody else.....apparently my mind isn't working....
And on a side note, I saw my dentist in the Capitol Rotunda and my neighbor at the 96 Olympics.....my goal is to see somebody I know in a foreign country....that would be pretty sweet.....

When I was a kid I was down there for the Goofy Games and saw/met a whole slew of pro/athletes and a sportscaster from our local news station. Funny thing, I was more excited about the news guy because he's the one I saw on TV.
Anyway, Boomer Esiason (sp.) almost knocked my sister over so his kid could meet Tigger. My dad was soooo angry...that night his buddy was at the poolside bar at CBR and had a few beers with Joe Washington from the Washington Redskins. My dad joined them and when I went over to see DD, Joe Washington let me put on his Superbowl ring. It was pretty cool.
My parents also saw the guy that played the dad on "Step by Step" the television show with Suzanne Somers. I don't remember seeing anyone else famous, but I don't really get too excited over it anyway. I was once in line behind Steven Tyler at Dunkin Donuts and everyone was freaking out...I don't know why...he's a regular at places like that around here.

Well, I did run into some friends of mine at DLRParis, but that was cuz we met them a week earlier in Italy and knew we were gonna be there the same day.....my friends went in the bathroom and came out with the fam of our friends! So we kinda rigged it.....

I saw Michael Jackson-- in what could hardly be called a disguise, it was so ridiculous-- in Fantasyland back in the late 80's. It was all over the news that night too, so so much for the disguise! Other than that, I saw Joan Lunden and Roxie Roker, again in the late 80's.

My mother and I rode the great movie ride with Kelly Rippa, her hottie husband and their kids back in 2003 and didn't know until we got off the ride. It was later at night, and very dark. The park was empty and they didn't have a CM guide with them! EEK! My mother and I tried to see where they were going next but that family walks TOO FAST!

I was there the week after Christmas this past year, 2008. We saw Paul Schaffer of Letterman (talked to him briefly) and former President Jimmy Carter at DHS! I was eating at Cape May adn he was staying at Beach Club that week from what we had heard. It was like 16 years ago and I was a kid and saw him walking down the hallway and I was right by the railings and stood up and screamed and pointed and was like "LOOK it's PAT SAJAK!!!!"
You woulda thought I just saw Elvis :-) I'm SUCH a huge Wheel fan and always have been :-)
About 3 years ago I JUST missed seeing Neal patrick Harris- my sister saw him and called me and by the time i got htere he was gone. We were staying at AKL and he was waiting to get into either Jiko or Boma and he was with a man and my sister said that they looked like a couple but this was b4 he was "out". I remember when he finally came out we were like "duh, we coulda told u that."

My gosh, this must have been 20+ years ago...I was with my family at Pleasure Island, walking around when Patricia (or Rosanna?) Arquette and Peter Gabriel walked, hand in hand, right past me. This was around the time when whisperings were going around in the media that they were an item...I believe one, if not both of them, was married at the time.
also passed Regis going into MK - we had to take a detour since Main Street was roped off for the Christmas parade. He was headed to the parade, which we were skipping, and he stopped to talk to us and esp my sister. My sister is down syndrome and in a wheel chair so I thought that was nice that he sought her out to shake her hand and say "hi". She, on the other hand, just looked at this strange man like " and who in the world are YOU?!" It was funny but sweet.

In April I was with my friend’s 6 year old daughter, who just had a spiffy makeover at the BBB. We lunched at Norway and the decided to look in the big shop in the Japan area. While looking at some random stuff this lady standing by us commented on how beautiful my friend’s daughter looked. I looked up at the women and instantly thought “yikes!”:scared1: she was wearing this ugly minidress and her eye makeup was way over dark and over done. I then walked over to my friend and pointed out the lady to my friend and we both agreed she looked ugly and only wished she looked as beautiful as the 6 year old. Well a few minutes later we went into the area where they sell all the different kinds of snacks and stuff and I noticed a group of teenage girls giggling and snapping pics with their cellphones. I turned to see what/who they were looking at and it was the lady with the bad dress/eye make up! I asked them who she was and the said Katy Perry (the singer)! I couldn’t believe it I started laughing and went over to tell my friend. If I had only recognized her earlier I would have had asked for a picture, oh well!
