Sorry you're so disappointed, Anna.
At least there is a silver lining, like you say, you won't have to cancel.

Trouble is the housing market has slowed down alomst gone backwards, so anyone who has purchased a house in the past few years will find it is worth alot less than they paid for it. I am sure things will change and as said you can now go on holiday when you want to.

Sorry to hear that, Anna. We are trying to sell our house at the moment too, babies take up so much room! We thought we had it a couple of weeks ago - we had an offer on ours which we accepted but the buyer dropped out as they found a cheaper property in a different area. We were gutted as we have found the house we want.

Pixie dust for better luck in the housing market.

Sorry to hear this Anna, at least it makes the decision about the holiday for you. It obviously wasn't meant to be and I'm sure an even better house will come along. We are trying to sell my nans house, my dad has dropped the price but people seem to want us to give it away.

I'm trying to sell my mum's house and can't even get people to view it let alone make an offer. :sad2:

So sorry to hear about the house but like others have said something better will come along. I fell in love with 2 before we got this one and each house falling through was agony.

Ended up getting a small bungalow (not on MY checklist!) on a large plot which my husband had the vision to see extended and now 12 years and 3 major extensions later I would never leave.

When the first 2 house fell through people told me "things happen for a reason" and at the time I could have throttled them but now I take back those thoughts as they were so right.

Have fun planning your Disney trip you didn't have to cancel and keep your eye out for another home waiting just for you.
