No waitlist OKW for December!

I'm in shock! I expected a waitlist but I just got off the phone with MS and reserved the first week of Dec, 2 bdrm, OKW with no waitlist! I almost didn't try because I figured there was no way we'd get one! My DH will be so happy! He loves Disney at Christmas time with the weather and decoration! :D

Great. We want to try this when DD graduates from HS. We went Thanksgiving week 2001 and the beginning of the season were coming. Have a magical time.:D

I'm surprised too but happy you don't have to go on a waitlist. I love the decorations. We will be at OKW Thanksgiving. Your first trip must be coming up soon. I bet you're getting excited for that first trip "home". Make sure you post when you return.:)

Maybe its because BCV is soaking up some of the reservations.

We are OKW members and had made 11-month ressies for a Studio Dec 13-21st. I called this morning to switch into BWV or BCV and found both of them completely available! Never had that experience before ... what a great surprise!

:( I am still on the waitlist for a 2 bedroom at the BCV. We have the first 3 nights but the last 3 we were waitlisted. I wish I was having the luck others seem to be. Anyone have any pixie dust to throw my way? Samantha

I think DVC members are wanting to try the new Villa on the block. We got our ressie right at the 7 month window for 10/2002 (in a studio).

We also booked two 2-bedroom villas at OKW for the second week in December.... no troubles. Now I hope all our ducks get in a row so we can go!!!

Booked a standard 1 bedroom at BWV for the 2nd week of December. This is my favorite time to visit WDW. It is like living inside a Christmas card for a week.
Just booked a 1 bedroom at BCV with no problem for the last week of October. I was surprised it was available. Can't wait to see the new resort.
If these rooms are still available in December, can we expect small crowds?

I was able to book a 1 bdrm at BCV for the 2nd week of December last week...was expecting them to be all gone.

Just booked last week a one BR at OKW from 12/29-01/04. Was very surprised there was no waitlist!:)

Glad to hear there is no wait list for first part of December. We are chewing our fingernails because we have to wait until 60 days out to book part of our trip to OKW this August. I'm starting to think we'll be okay!
