I've been lurking around here for a while, but recently joined. Today I put down my deposit for 9/13-9/18 at Pop Century--SOLO!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

I'm not planning to say anything to my family until the trip gets closer, because then my sister will invite herself along. But then I realized that I share a P.O. Box with my parents--oops. I'll have to figure out how to explain this 'random' piece of mail from the travel agent. :confused3

Anyway, just wanted to say hi. :wave2: I expect to be spending more time here over the next few months.

Thanks y'all. I've been dreaming of taking a solo trip to Europe for a while, but haven't been able to work that out yet. I figure going to Disney first will help me ease into it.

I grew up in the metroplex and actually lived in Plano until Jan 2008 when I moved back to the Brazos Valley. I'd wanted to come back since I graduated and finally made it.

No, I went to HS in Arlington. And I'm up there--I graduated HS in 1992. Probably older than your son. :)
