Does anyone know anything about Tokina? I was looking at their 28mm lens for the Olympus OM series

OK, I know this is totally apples-&-oranges here, but I have the Tokina 12-24 f4 on a Nikon DSLR mount and have been very happy. The build quality is exceptional, it performs great optically, and while I know this doesn't apply to the 28 you're looking at, the autofocus is fast and accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Tokina lens.

i have a tokina 10-17 fisheye( for canon) and it's sharp, metal build like a tank. Husband actually dropped it and it has only one tiny barely notifiable scuff mark. only problems are a lot of purple fringing but i think that is common such a wide angle and it's an easy fix in lightroom and due to the build it's a little heavy for it's size but not terrible. i'd buy another tokina
