Taking the tram to the car to the monorail to the Polynesian isle was a long and tedious journey. But I was on a mission. AL COHLNADO – the drink of lost gold!
Fig a:

I eventually arrived in Polynesia to find that clever Mother had already procured this fine drink for me. They call it….THE LAPU LAPU.

Full of pineapple tonic, we were off to explore the simpler time of ye olde America. We enjoyed a local Dixieland band as we strolled through the grounds.

With each step we took toward our dinner destination, Mother fell more in love with the resort. As we walked through the gardens, she attempted to simultaneously plan both my wedding and her 40th wedding anniversary a la Grand Floridian. I’m not engaged yet, but that small detail was irrelevant to Mother.

Into Narcossee’s we went, where charming young host Breandon allowed us to wait for a window seat. The restaurant was absolutely elegant, and we meandered along the water while waiting for our table. Across the lake I spied what appeared to be a futuristic high-tech space portal.
Fig g:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0083.jpg
I was intrigued and wanted to explore the bright building, but was soon distracted by the promise of more alcoholic libations. Mother and I headed over to the bar for a raspberry mojito and a kahlua martini.
Fig h:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0087-1.jpg
Even better than our delicious drinks was Sergio, the Guatemalan-Sicilian bartender. Sergio can only be described as a gleeful delight, and we enjoyed conversing with him until Breandon arrived to summon us to our table.
Amer was our server. He brought us salmon with orzo, a cheese plate, caeser salad, and crab-encrusted flounder.
Fig i:

At nine o’clock on the dot, we were startled by thunderous flashes of light just outside our window! We bolted from our chairs (much to the alarm of Amer, who chased after us shouting and waving the unpaid check). Luckily when we got outside, we realized that the explosions were taking place safely across the lake, and we were able to watch them safely from the shore.

We staggered from the Grand Floridian, pausing only to photograph Mother in front of what she considered the perfect bridal bouquet for my supposed upcoming wedding

HI EVERYBODY....if anyone is still out there....what a busy time for me to be attempting to write a trip report! I've been locked away working 12+ hour days on a shoot for the past three weeks, plus working on acquiring the house (we're almost there!!). Thanks to anyone who is still reading along, and to those of you whose TRs I've fallen horribly behind on, I plan to do lots of reading this weekend since my shoot ends Friday :cool1:
The hidden mickey at PhilarMagic is in the outline fo the stage in an instrucment (trombone?) on the right hand side, toward the top.
I took a pic and completely missed it! I even put a pic in my TR and didn't even realize it until later. I'll get the pic in a moment and post it.
http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv12/MyMuse18/DisneyJenna%20-%20Magic%20Kingdom/P5030213.jpg
COOL! I never ever noticed that before. I love all the hidden little details at Disney.
All caught up. And enjoying every minute! Don't you just love drinks at Victoria Falls and dinner at Jiko? :cloud9: And the glow cubes just make it all worthwhile. ;) I'm such a kid- I'll do almost anything for a glow cube and/or souvenir cup. :rotfl:
So you actually dined at the elusive el pirata y pericho? Wow! It's never been open while I've been there.
Looking forward to more! :)
Thanks! Yes, this is the first time I have ever noticed El Pirata Y Pericho being open too. If you are in the mood for tacos it totally hits the spot. Mmmm, toppings bar....the only thing my taco was missing was a glow cube
It's always great when you log on and bam! Two new updates you didn't even know about! It's been awhile since I read the book, but the tone of this TR so reminds me of Stephenie Meyer's The Host. :goodvibes
Thanks! I should check it out, I haven't read any of her books. I am always looking for new books to read on the train.
I love this update. It has been hilarious. :goodvibes
Thank you! :teeth:
So funny! Great update!
Good question brookelizabeth...are the tacos good? They look pretty good. It's funny that I've never really paid attention to that food booth.
You probably never paid attention because it's usually closed  The tacos were good. I was a little disappointed when they first came out because the shells weren't chock-full of meat, but there was a ton of really good toppings, and it ended up being really tasty.
I just found your TR and I'm loving it! You are hilarious!
Are the tacos at MK good? They look tasty....we've never eaten there.
And, I have to say-I'm a big fan to What Not to Wear and YOUR epsoide is one of my all time favorites! It stands out in my memory and I was shocked to find you on here! Yay! :yay:
Thank you so much! :teeth:
And yeah...the tacos were good!!!
I love it!! :thumbsup2 This is such a great change in the normal TR. Super!! :goodvibes
Thank you! I'm glad people are enjoying it and sorry the updates have been coming so slowly
I agree! Def the most creative TR I have read!!!
Wow thanks Kat, that means a lot because I love your TRs!
I just love the style of this report, it makes me crack up every update! :rotfl:
Thanks LL  I need to catch up on your TR! Stupid work getting in the way of my DISBoards reading!!

On Sunday morning I arose early to journey to the mysterious universe of Universal. This dark land was so far away and secretive I had to drive down a long & deserted road just to reach the front gates. Down three escalators, and two moving walkways, until finally I reached…City Walk.
fig a:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0002-1.jpg
I was starved with hunger after my long trek, and considered trying some of the exotic local fare.
fig b:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0001-1.jpg
I must admit that I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything endorsed by a giant, gleeful shrimp in a top hat. I went with a more traditional breakfast meal of iced chai and dry pumpkin bread at a local coffee shoppe.
Walking deeper into this wild universe, I was sure that there would be excitement around each corner!
fig c:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0005.jpg
I found what appeared to be a 3-D map of this promising new world, but unfortunately it did not give me much information.
fig d:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0004-1.jpg
I certainly did not expect the first building I came across to be seemingly put there just for me….it reminded me a little too much of my day job!
fig e:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0007-1.jpg
I was so distracted by finding myself in shockingly familiar surroundings that I nearly was sideswiped by a bright, huge vehicle that suddenly came speeding down the street! I jumped back in terror, and quickly took a snapshot of the strange automobile.
fig f:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0009-1.jpg
Why, this was no ordinary minivan – this was a MYSTERY MACHINE! I raced after it, trying to get the attention of the shaggy-haired driver and his canine companion. Surely I would be a vital asset to a crew of detectives such as this!
Obviously the pair of crimebusters were in the middle of a serious mission as they could not stop for me, but the driver caught my eye and gave me a secret explorer wave.
fig g:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0011-1.jpg
Out of breath from my chase, I paused to take a look at my surroundings. I realized then that I had the opportunity for an exciting new mission!
fig h:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0019-1.jpg
This was unbelievably exciting – an alien spaceship had crashed in Manhattan and my courageous explorer skills were needed to help excavate the nasty creatures! Unfortunately I cannot recall how successful I was in my mission – my memory appeared to have been wiped clean once my task was completed. Luckily I had managed to scribble a few notes in my journal first, allowing me to piece together this vague description. How disappointing that the details of my most exciting encounter are lost! I suppose I understand the need of the government to be discreet in such sensitive matters. I am confident that I performed with incredible speed and skill, and that the ten-year-old boy sharing my alien combat vehicle absolutely did not triple my score. No way.
It was time for some relaxing after my stressful mission. I leisurely made my way to a local theme park, Krustyland.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0014-1.jpg
Curious, I headed into the main ride – mostly lured in by the classic Simpsons clips playing in the queue.
fig l:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0020-1.jpg
Awkwardly, I was thrust into an 8-person car with a family of 7. What was supposed to be a pleasant rollercoaster turned into a devilish nightmare when one Sideshow Bob sent our car careening to hell and back! Luckily we all escaped unscathed, despite getting soaked in baby spit (please don’t ask).
After that silly diversion I was up for more exploring. Deep into the woods I went for yet another out-of-this-world mission! This time, I had to return a young extra terrestrial creature to his home planet. Whoever was in charge of this mission felt that all I needed to accomplish this task was a simple bicycle. I was irritated – clearly a helicopter or space rocket would have made much more sense. But I still completed the mission, even helping the little E.T. to save the green planet (was there any doubt?).
Exploring solo can get lonely, so I am always thrilled to make new acquaintances. I came across a lovely man who I just had to get my photo with. I found his yellow hat simply delightful, and we talked about it at length.
fig m:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0021-1.jpg
His fuzzy monkey companion was also incredibly cute. I was informed that he was ‘curious’ – a natural explorer! I enjoyed a stroll around their neighborhood and some more happy socializing before it was time to continue in my travels.

Hi everyone....sorry for another 2 weeks passing between updates....I have even more excuses now :p
I am just wrapping up that monster shoot I was on for most of June...AND....taping another show where I am actually in front of the camera. Anyone ever heard of Property Virgins (http://www.hgtv.com/property-virgins/show/index.html)on HGTV? (I have to admit, I never had!) They are doing an episode on me & my adventures in house hunting! Jack will be in it too, along with my roommate Jeff, and our two adorable cats. Hopefully it will be fun to watch! I'll let you all know when it's on if you want to tune in. :happytv:
This does mean that I can't really tell you too much about how everything is going with my house hunting, since it will all be revealed on the show...but I suppose this makes it obvious that things are going GOOD!

Thanks! I had never ever been to Universal before either (Just Islands of Adventure, their other park). I actually really enjoyed it, though I admit I kept comparing it to WDW in my head! They really need a Fastpass system - the longest lines I waited in that trip were all at Universal. They did have a lot of rides with single rider lines at least, although that really backfired when I ended up on the 8-seater Simpsons ride with a family of 7....REALLY awkward! :rotfl: Now that I'm hooked on having a rental car at WDW I'm going to try and go to Universal again next trip...I think Jack would really enjoy it.

In episode "Nick vs. Ashley", I pop up twice as a 'Labor Saver'. I wore a white paper bodysuit & hood with giant dark goggles. Hardly my coolest moment on national television :rolleyes1
I also had a fantastic, 2-second appearance on a show I worked on in '04 called 'Perfect Proposal.' Does anyone even remember that one? :confused3 Surprise wedding proposals - now that was a fun show to work on!

Thanks so much! No Disney stuff has come up on Property Virgins yet, but one of the houses we looked at had a kid's room that was totally done up in Spongebob Squarepants wallpaper. They can't allow us to say 'Spongebob Squarepants' and the wallpaper will be blurred out because he's on a competiting network, so Jack walked around the room saying things like "Oh boy, my favorite trademarked character!" "Kelly, don't you love this trademarked character wallpaper?" :rotfl:

I think it's definitely worth checking out Universal, though I can't imagine spending more than a day at each park (in fact when I went to IOA in '02, my friend and I did the entire park twice in four hours! Granted it was winter so we didn't do a couple of the water rides and it wasn't crowded, but still!)
Holy Cow! You are going to be on another show! That is so neat. Please tell us when it will be on. I love Property Virgins, it's a good show....makes me less nervous about buying a house someday.
Yes buying a house is scary stuff :scared1: Luckily I had an amazing realtor and mortgage person - makes such a difference!!!
We watch Property Virgins occasionally. Glad the house hunt is finally paying off! Universal looks like more fun than I remember it being. I'm afraid to take DH there, for fear that he might like it better than any of the Disney parks!
:rotfl: I feel the same way about taking Jack to the water parks. He loves them and would rather spend an entire day bobbing around in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon than going to Epcot or MK. Not me!!!
I love Propety Virgins! So cool! You on another show? How do you do it! LOL!
Can't wait to see it!
Great update, too!
How do I do it? Luck and a willingness to try anything once I think  Thanks, glad you are enjoying the TR! It's been fun to write. I hope to get another update up tomorrow!
Another TV show? I just love HGTV:love:, it is amazing the number of hours you can devote to doing just one thing, while totally avoiding what you should be doing. Hmmm, am I talking about being on the DISboards or watching HGTV?:surfweb:/:happytv: Can't wait to see the new show, and I think that means you found a house?
Haha I am the same way...I always say I am too busy to update my TR, then realize that I spent four hours watching 'celebreality' shows on VH1
I can't wait to share pictures of the house that I may or may not have thanks or no thanks to Property Virgins :rolleyes1

 I'm working my way thru the world of reality shows! Fun fact: You can also catch me on the classic home makeover show "Trading Spaces: Boys Vs. Girls".
 You should audition for Survivor or the Amazing Race!

Continuing my exploration through the bizarre universe of Universal, I decided to take a tour of a laboratory belonging to a young rocket scientist. Unfortunately the tour was cut short when one of his rocket vehicles was stolen by an odd egg-alien, so I of course agreed to help in retrieving it. This chase led us through Bikini Bottom, which gave me the opportunity to wave hello to my dear spongebuddy, Spongebob Squarepants.

(First the morning Manhattan alien invasion, and now this intergalactic rocket thief? I truly am concerned about the clear lack of security in Universal’s outer space borders.)
All’s well and I next went on a perilous journey to the land of Far Far Away.

I do wish someone had told me that I was not to be a guest in the castle, but a prisoner in its dungeon! My fellow prisoners stood lethargically by while I desperately plotted an escape. After being thrust over the edge of a waterfall I was afraid my Orlando adventure was about to come to a painfully fatal end, but a friendly fire-breathing dragon saved us.
Embarrassed at being held captive in such a ridiculous place, I planned to redeem myself by accepting a challenge to journey into the depths of an ancient tomb and retrieve some lost souls without falling victim to the mummy myself.

I was so skilled at rescuing souls from the Underworld that I was invited back for a 2nd mission. I built up quite an appetite and enjoyed some gelato afterwards.

I was excited for the chance to relax for a bit and elected to take a quiet boat tour around the harbor.
fig h:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/kellysound/disney_march09/DSC_0035-1.jpg
I had nearly dozed off when we came across a wrecked boat and a couple of hungry sharks. There was one particularly large one that tried to overturn the boat and devour some of the passengers (I cleverly held a small child in front of me for protection). At one point I was able to grab the grenade launcher from the useless tour guide and do away with the sea-beast. The guide was grateful and asked that we not tell anyone about the incident because it would be bad for business, but I was sure to notify the local papers immediately because I felt that unsuspecting tourists need to know! You’re welcome, island visitors.
Dazed from my close encounter with the killer fish, I soon found myself in a fate worse than being eaten alive by sharks!!!

Soon, I was driving back to the hotel to pick up Mother. We met 6 of her friends at Universal City Walk for dinner at Margaritaville. I drank some sort of green beverage called “Off to See the Lizard” and ate a cheeseburger that claimed to be in paradise. I could not disagree!
We headed back to the Rosen Centre for the night, and Mother & I were excited for the next day – we would be exploring the fascinating Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow!

Isn't Universal Express only for people who stay at the Universal hotels? Or did I totally make that up? :confused3 I must say I do like the free lockers they have for you to stash your stuff on some of the rides.
I couldn't even remember the Trading Spaces BvG's host's first name, so you're doing better than I am

Upon entering the mammoth land of learning, we decided to begin with a tour of the acclaimed Imagination Institute. I was quite eager to get an inside look at the facility’s recent breakthroughs in their research.

The tour was enjoyable, and smelly, but I was disappointed that it was cut short before we made it to the Touch and Taste Labs. This was due to an amusing, yet persistently interruptive, creature who claimed to be the Figment of Imagination. I managed to catch a few shots of the little beast, though they did not come out clear because he was always bustling about.

HI everybody! If you're still with me....it's been nearly 2 months since my last update! I always swore I'd never become one of 'those people' who let their TRs drag on for a year, but now I'm eating my words  Life has been so busy between moving and trying to set up the new house, taping Property Virgins, and an absolutely crazy summer at work. I managed to take off a few days last week to go to Buffalo for my grandmother's 90th birthday, and even then work asked me to come back a day early :headache: Thank goodness for labor day weeknd, and the chance to catch up on the DISBOARDS!
I also must admit that it's a bit harder to keep up DISing when you don't have any trips planned in the foreseeable future. I'm already making subtle, desperate pleas to Jack for a trip next year. I miss WDW sooooo much!
Thank you to anyone who has been sticking around, and I'm working on catching up on all of your wonderful trip reports too!

Well the good thing about a 2 month hiatus is it gave me a chance to find your TR! I think I was in the midst of my own Post Disney Depression and my own TR while you were doing a lot of yours!
Enjoying the report so far and I enjoyed seeing the Universal pics. I've only been to Islands of Adventure and can see quite a bit my crew would love over there. This last trip it just didn't make sense, the cost for the one day ticket really made it not worth it but I hope next time we can swing it..and maybe do 2 days!

DH and DS loved it. Me, I wound up in the ER with severe sinusitus and dehydration. Only made it to EPCOT before I got sick.
I;m just getting back on my feet and catching up here.
Oh noooooo! That is terrible news - to plan so much for a vacation and then get so sick  I hope you are feeling 100% better now.
No worries about the 2 month wait! LOL! You have to promise to tell us when your Property Virgin show is airing! LOL! Can't wait!
Great update!
I definitely will! I keep hearing from the Property Virgins, but it's always "Soon, soon, we'll have a date for you any day now..."
Hi Kelly!:goodvibes Sorry you're so burnt out now. How funny was that being recognized by an airport worker.
I now remember the Trading Spaces kids hostess's last name. Diane Mizota.princess:
You have an amazing memory John!
Hi Kelly,
Well the good thing about a 2 month hiatus is it gave me a chance to find your TR!
Sorry things are so busy but looking forward to reading the rest of your report now that I found it.
I think Universal is definitely worth going to as long as it doesn't take away from any WDW time. And you definitely want to end the trip at a Disney park so you're heading home on a magical note, methinks :teeth:
Sorry for yet another delay in getting the next post up - I hope to get to it within the next couple of days!
Kelly, so glad to hear all is well! Glad to see you back on here, even if we don't see ya for another 2 months:lmao:
Please let us know when your show is on!
Will do - sorry for the delays in posting :rotfl: Boo real life!!!
Hi Kelly, good to see an update! Eggbert is adorable. Is he kin to Mr. Vacuum?
I was in EPCOT on this day also. I can't believe I never saw you. I mean it's a small World after all, isn't it? ;)
I'd like to think Eggbert is perhaps Mr. V's distant cousin....they do have a similar beady-eyed stare
Come to think of it, I don't think I saw any green mickey heads on this trip. Hmmm! I think I'm just not very observant :magnify:
Hey Kelly. Glad to see you came back. :goodvibes I completely understand though. We were trying to get a trip in this year and it just hasn't worked out :sad2: so I have started to spend less time on the DIS as well.
Hopefully you can get there next year. I am bound and determined to get there ourselves. :cool1:
Great update and I look forward to more.
Thanks! I feel so lucky that I was able to squeeze in a trip this year. I took a week off work and tried to figure out somewhere new to go. But everywhere I am really interested in is either not feasible right now due to $$$ (like Tokyo or California), or it's somewhere that I really don't want to go to in the winter (like Chicago....brrrrr! :cold: )
Yay! You are back!!
Eggbert is just so adorable.
Yes, you must plan a new trip! :thumbsup2
Agreed! I need to catch up on your stories too. You're probably done with your TR by now. I can't imagine all the light fixtures I am missing!
Hi Kelly!
Good to see you back on the boards. Your life sounds so busy! Hope things slow down for you soon and that you find your dream house. :goodvibes
Thanks :) Things with the house are good, and I swear if I can just make it through the next six weeks, things should slow down with work too. I really can't wait for the holidays!

No worries about the delays, and I couldn't agree more about ending the trip on a magical note. We're planning the next trip accordingly :)
Congrats on your upcoming getaway, I'll be curious to see what you think of Paradiso 37, it's on my list for the next trip and in the meantime I look forward to seeing the rest of your TR.

Good to hear from you. So since there s work to do on the house, I'm assuming the Property Virgins thing went well. Any chance we could see a sneak peak pic of the house??
And, oh yeah, another trip for Thanksgiving? Jealous!

I'm excited for Paradiso 37 and their intruiging margaritas! They must be really new, I had never heard of them until I just started researching this trip a couple of days ago.

I am checking in on your report and see that you finished a few weeks ago! I gotta catch up :surfweb: And I see that you're going back in January!!! That deserves a dancing banana

I see you're staying in a Disney Vacation Club resort this time. I wonder if you're aware of the looping show about DVC on the resort TVs. It's hosted by a really cute woman named Casey. She's more low-key than Stacey.
Speaking of Stacey, since you were last in Orlando, Stacey's show has been changed.....it's now "Must-Do Disney", and she supposedly isn't as perky as she was on the Top 7. But she's still cute!:goodvibes

Ugh! I remembered it up until yesterday...but forgot today! I see it is on again at 3 am so I ran downstairs to set it to record. The description on the guide said something about "two Scotts". Is that the right one? Perhaps it is different in Canada?

In need of refreshment after such a busy morning, I set my sights on Morocco, where I had heard of a most delicious beverage called The Sultan’s Colada. Our journey from Mexico to Morocco was long and strenuous, and of course we needed to make many stops along the way to rest our weary feet.
In Italy, we relaxed under an umbrella while drinking peach iced tea, which Eggbert enjoyed immensely.

Temporarily refreshed (but still yearning for the legendary Sultan’s Colada), we continued through America to Japan. A woman had gathered a crowd around here so we peered in for a look.

It appeared she was carving mythical beasts out of taffy. This seemed like black magic to me…I certainly did not wish to be around when her pink taffy tiger sprung to life and devoured the gaping tourists. We scurried on. Soon we were standing on a long line, anxiously awaiting my Sultan’s Colada! Finally it was my turn to request my beverage…and I was told that the complex machine that creates the heavenly beverage was broken. Indefinitely. I was devastated.

We distracted ourselves with a wander through a local museum, taking in the local culture, and ending up in a bakery. Mother purchased baklava, pistachio cheesecake, and a coffee with orange liquor. We sat and ate in the glorious café.

Onward to France, as I was still being pulled by a strong desire (for alcohol). I procured a Grand Marnier slushie, and all was well again.

We continued through France to explore the shops, and to douse ourselves in fancy French perfume.

Throughout our meandering, I had a nagging feeling that I was forgetting something….soon I realized that we had tickets for a flight and would have to run to make lift-off! We raced through Epcot UK and boarded our flight to California just in time. Soon we were soaring over the great state of CA, dipping our toes in the rapids and flying right over orange groves. It was a lovely journey, and after landing, we strolled toward our next transportation adventure – taking a time travel vehicle through the history of the world! It was lovely to travel through the ages, although at the end a futuristic video showed us that in the future, I am headless. This was disturbing.
Aware that we were hungry (perhaps from the smell of burning meat while journeying through ancient Rome), we returned to the site of our secret mission, China. Beef noodle soup for me, mango smoothie and stir fried veggies for Mother.

HI all - here I am, frantically trying to finish my report before I leave for my next trip on Wednesday! :surfweb: Life has been crazy, which seems to be the norm these days.
Thanks to all who watched Property Virgins, hope you enjoyed it! If you missed it, I believe it will be on again on Dec 21. I will admit it was a little uncomfortable to watch because Jack is actually my EX-boyfriend now, and we're in the process of moving him out of my lovely house....Jeff is still here, as well as two other wonderful roommates (and two cats) so it is still a full house and I love living here! Haven't had the chance to do much to it yet though...hopefully I can put some real work in when things die down after the holidays!
I can't wait to see it!
Thanks, did you catch it? I have to admit it's kind of a boring show :rotfl: I was falling asleep when they were going on and on about FHA loans.
I see you're staying in a Disney Vacation Club resort this time. I wonder if you're aware of the looping show about DVC on the resort TVs. It's hosted by a really cute woman named Casey. She's more low-key than Stacey.

Interesting, I look forward to meeting the Non-Stacey! ;) This is my first time staying in a DVC resort, woohoo!
Thanks for the update on your show! It's on my calendar and I can't wait to see it!
Thanks! I hope you found it entertaining! I tried to make it funny, it was hard though. I am not a very good actress! And I don't know if anyone could tell, but it was sweltering on the day we looked at the two houses with Jeff. We all look so sweaty.
"This episode of Property Virgins is brought to you by Disney Blu-Ray."
But of course. :lol
Congratulations on the house!
Thanks! :teeth:
Darn it I missed it!
Looks like it will be on again in December...it's not nearly as exciting as What Not To Wear anyway
Ugh! I remembered it up until yesterday...but forgot today! I see it is on again at 3 am so I ran downstairs to set it to record. The description on the guide said something about "two Scotts". Is that the right one? Perhaps it is different in Canada?
Oddly the description on the guide was totally not correct :confused3 I didn't think it would be my show but I taped it just in case and it was.
I missed it,Darn it!! I kept telling myself not to forget to set it up to tape and I forgot. Do you know when it will be on again?
I think Dec 21...that's a Monday, right? It's a Monday.
I saw it! Your house is great, especially the kitchen! I'm so glad they accepted your offer!! Any "background info" from the show you'd like to share? I love Property Virgins!
Thanks! I don't have any good info from the show because our circumstance was odd, they were shooting another couple and then at the last minute those people backed out so I was thrown in (my realtor works on the show, that's how they found me). So I was really well into the house hunting process already, which is unusual. Sandra was really nice and so was the whole crew - it's actually a Canadian company, they were all from Toronto.
Great choice on the house Kelly! Have you done any work to it yet? I think you need to post pics if you did! That kitchen is so big! :goodvibes
I LOVE the kitchen! We haven't done much work yet unfortunately, and it will be even harder now that Jack is moving out since he was my handyman. Luckily I have three supportive roommates who will help me figure it all out!
I have some pictures from the show, I'll try and post them soon!

Hello Kelly, wherever you are.
I see your What Not to Wear show is on again this Tuesday at 5pm ET.
And another thing--since you are an Alice fan, have you seen the new Alice film, and if so, did you like it?
