How much is the economy affecting DVC? We called today and had no trouble booking a 2 BR at SSR the week of NYE. I realize it is 11 months and SSR is huge, but was worried checking in after Christmas with the new format.

since the other timeshares are in trouble can only assume that DVC is hurting or will be.

haven't heard if BLT or AKV sales are in line with their forecast or not.

There was a recent article from Forbes? about Disney Inc that had a brief DVC sales mention. I think it was slightly down, but not really that bad.
Thsoe quarterly reports may differ from live info. DVC selling the highly anticipated BLT and soon GCV may actually be an, OK thing for DVC in this economy

We are currently at the World (BWV) and crowds seem normal. Dinner at Chefs of France last night and no sign of a recession. Tons of people being turned away. Doesn't look like a bad economy here.

If my memory is right the total BLT declared units to date is around 10 percent. We are not that far away from the 6-month mark so that makes it pretty clear how sales are going.
