DS is suppose to have another game tonight...so yesterdays photo was of the score board...hopefully tonight will be of another scoreboard..and if not.. the sn**!!!

The pile of laundry I have to do- the dog got sick in our bed in the middle of the night- not a pleasant way to wake up at 4 am. I am really glad I always keep a full set of bedding on hand though.

It was going to be a $n** pic, but then this tiny finch landed on my kitchen window sill. And it put it's little head under it's wing and was keeping warm there...and she is my pic of the day...

You can have some of ours. They are calling for another 15-20 cm tonight and tomorrow morning. Around our neighborhood they are running out of places to put all the snow.


As for my photo of the day I can't decide what one i want to use. My DD just had her 6 month check up today at the doctors (I got one of her being weighed). Then I took a great photo of my DD and my Mom. Once we were home my cousin was playing with my DD and I got a great photo of them. And the day isn't even over yet.

Decisions... Decisions... Decisions....:confused3

Around the decatur county area mom said they are locking things down! LOL I laughed and said it's sn** not a wind storm!

On The New Snowfall Projections

I ran out of time a little while ago, so I wanted to talk more about this next wave.

I mentioned that ice may be a huge factor again in this system (this was a huge factor in reduced snowfall totals in many storms last year). Here are 2 maps showing projected snowfall accumulations, and what may prevent some of these numbers from coming to fruition.



The conflict is in how far north the ice will come. Right now we think some ice may sneak as far north as I-70 at least for a brief period of time from about 10pm to about 1am. Just north of that ice line is where we anticipate the heavy band of snow to set-up.

BOTTOM LINE: Anywhere in the METRO AREA should prepare as much as 10″ of snow, or as little as 4″ with ice. NORTH: 4″-8″ snow, SOUTH Ice and snow mix, watch for ice accumulations..snow could be 8″-10″ in areas that don’t see ice…much less if ice is the main form of precipitation.

no idea. I did take a pic of a lamp shade today with my phone but it was for DH to see. Not sure if I'm thrilled with the prospect of using that. Maybe I'll snap a pic of my Michael's finds.
