My husband thinks I am totally nuts on how I count how many days it is until our next Walt Disney World vacation.

I don't count today, well...because it's already here. And, I don't count the day we leave, well...because we leave that day. I only count the days in between. So, by my calculations, it's 120 days until our next Walt Disney World vacation! My husband says it's 122 but, by golly, I say it's 120!

Who else counts the same way I do?

I'd say the easiest way to count the days would be backwards. :rotfl2:

I count the day we leave but not today, so in accordance to the days on your original post I'd say 121 days. :rotfl:

I dont count today or the day we leave either but when I got a ticker countdown thing it told me how many days left (dont know how they count) so I just go with that.

On my calendar at work though I didnt count the day we leave and then I drew Mickeys on every day I would be gone :D

LOVE IT!!

Im going to be either so sad the entire month of March when I get back seeing those Mickeys as in the past or so happy just remembering the experience!!

When I first got my ticker, I put in the day that we check in to Pop. But when I saw it, I knew it was wrong according to the way that I count.:p Since our drive takes a day and a half, I went back and changed my ticker to the day before we actually drive out of our driveway. (Remember, I don't count the day we leave or the day we arrive.:rotfl: )

I start with the day we fly out, and let the countdown ticker do the rest :) As long as we leave on that day, it's ok with me...

well the kids know nothing about this trip so my count down is my ticker here.

When it comes to general stuff like holiday I try not to explain it to the boys they get all confused and mad. LOL If it's in the morning I count that day afternoon not really and I never count the actual day. Like if I counted now till St Valentines day it would be 3 days (Wed, Thur and Fri)

How fun that you have a surprise trip planned. We surprised our 11 year old with a trip to WDW this past August. He had no idea where we were going until we were about 30 miles from Disney World.

I agree that it's just 3 days to Valentines Day!
