We have stayed in past years in late August at the RPR and often there has been a very large Toys-R-Us convention. They booked a whole lot of rooms which may explain the lack of discounts at this point. Supersavers may show up closer to the date if they don't fill up.

Book your room now and just keep checking...you can always call and change your rates. Ours went fom SS of $259 in March to $126 SS about a month before our trip. Book through the Loews site, it is the most hassel free when it comes to changing.

Have already booked and am on the AAA RATE which is $1000 more for RPR than HRH@SS rate so im not sure wether to transfer to HRH or wether to ring RPR to see if they will pur me on ss rate

with all the reports of SS rates starting to roll out for early summer, checked my dates (added a night to reach 3 to see it it initiated the rate to appear on U site)

it did, yet the rate is exactly the same as what i booked early this month via AAA:confused3

You should definitely call RPR. I plugged in Aug. 20-Sept. 3 (14 nights) and got the supersaver rate ($123). But when I shifted to Aug. 22, no supersaver. Could just be a glitch, or the previously mentioned toy people or some other group booking a big block of rooms later in the month.

I have 2 res for RPR, first 2 weeks July and the last week July. Got SS for the first 2 weeks but none available for the last week. I remember reading last year , if one of your days is not available in the dates you put in you will not get the rate, I changed my last week to PBH, more expensive than RPR but at $172 its an excellent price.

I rang RPR they couldnt give me ss rate for 14 days So what i am thinking of doing is booking 14 nights at PBH at the same time as RPR and cancelling the more expensive one a couple of weeks before we go What do you think?

Why have 2 reservations for the same dates. Cancel the RPR and change it to PBH, then if the rates change or become cheaper at RPR, just cancel PBH and change your reservation to RPR.

If you walk the pathway route....the walk is 15-20 minutes. If you walk the roadway route through to Hard Rock it is a 10-15 minute walk.

No SS rates for the time i will be at RPH.
I'll be checking in on oct 8 and stay for 6 days.

the SS rate ends on the 8th....

i called last night and asked about the possibility of the SS extending into more dates for that month.

was told no, the the SS rates are out now for the year.

crossing my fingers that something changes.
if booking is down for my time period, maybe it will change.

They didn't have the SS rate last year for my dates either.
I have been using the AAA rates as they were better than the APH for me.

Same here, my October stay is AAA, as I was told by the girl on the phone that it was better than the APH rate. She said there wouldn't be any SS rates for Oct because it is a peak stay month. I could have sworn they had SS rates last Oct, but the APH rate, when it finally came out, was cheaper, so that's what I went with. I'm going to have to check my email archives about this???:confused3

I'm assumng June is high season because my super saver rates are showing as $228 for RPR and $242 for HRH.

But they consider it value weeks for the kids eat free program. Go figure.

And when I plug in the 5 for 3 it's HIGHER than just 3 nights...isn't it supposed to be the same?

without pulling out my notes from last trip (yep i keep them lol), i remember they had them for 3 night stays mid week the 3rd week of Oct-no weekend ones beginnng Fri or Sat (the ones i needed)

imo, the way the economy is, u never know what travel offer will pop up as it gets closerpopcorn::

stL - that's a good rate! im coming in on 6/27 for 2 nights @ PB & paying $258 night-AAA

i still don't understand why the supersaver rates r exactly the same as AAA when i priced it out(adding on an extra day for total of 3) for my dates?

not as i read it when im plugging about

5 for 3 = 3 nights @ rack rate-spread out over the 5 days as daily rate:teacher: ex: buy 3, get 5 costs $600, has daily rate listed on U site of $120 vs the $200 p/night for 3 days rack rate

is this what u meant?

When using the promo of stay 5 /3, you have to apply the rack rate for the paid nights.

What you see online for the hotels, might be the discounted rates.

If you used this promo, you can't apply another discount to it such as AAA or APH discounts.

Looking at my confirmation notice for last year's October trip, I had the SS rate for my stay. The average rate was $269 from Thursday, Oct. 9 through Monday, Oct. 13. That rate includes a $40 charge per night for 2 extra adults.
