We finally got enough snow last weekend to make for good snowmobiling so we went for a 6 hour ride yesterday. I hate the cold weather so I'm not sure why I live in Maine but I do enjoy snowmobiling (as long as it's not frigid cold) and it helps me get through the winter.:teeth:
So what does everyone do for fun during the winter months??

Actually the snowmobiling looks like a lot of fun- I would love to try it some time. My wife and kids have never even seen snow. (And I haven't either in 30 years  )

I saw snow flurries one night while I was up in KY over the X-mas break. Since then it was the day before we moved to FL six years ago. It snowed about four inches that day and I knew we were making the right decision.

Snowmobiling is a lot of fun and there are some great picture taking opportunities if one wasn't so bundled up.:teeth: When we were on our way home Saturday we were snowmobiling across a hillside and the sunset was beautiful but it's not easy to reach into the inside coat pocket to grab the p&s with heavy gloves on, one hand on the handlebar, while going 30-40 mph in order to keep up with DH and DD. So I don't take as many pictures as I would like and DH and DD would kill me if I was always stopping to snap pictures.
Funny you mention your wife and kids never seeing snow, I remember waitressing many years ago during the summer and I was waiting on a couple from down south and they pointed out the window and asked if it was really all covered in snow in the winter, they had never seen snow and they just couldn't quite imagine the view they were seeing being snow covered.:)

I don't really see much difference in what we do in winter and what the Floridians do:confused3
we often go to the beach for a picnic

I am spending this winter wishing upon a star that it will warm up in Orlando by the time I arrive in 25 days for a nice long weekend at WDW.

I haven't taken too many snowsoeing photos this winter because its been so cold I hate taking my gloves off- my hands get cold quickly.
Later in February we will be walking the beach in Naples,Fl :)
