I wonder if the points change will increasing bookings at OKW?

I've been planning our trips for next year (2010) and we were thinking about going next January just for a little getaway from the cold. Since I had already planned/booked several other trips I didn't have many points to play with for this little January trip. I only had 48 points extra to be specific. Before the change I had planned on us staying at BWV, but after the change I don't have enough points. In fact, I only have enough for us to stay in a Studio at OKW. We aren't wild about the Studios there, since they don't have a sofa in the rooms (there are only two of us). But it just occurred to me, I wonder how many others would be looking at those OKW Studios because they are less points than say VWL, BWV, etc. I wonder if the change will make it more difficult to get a 7 month ressie at OKW. What is your opinion?

Yeah, last night I was lookin' at my 'options' since the point change 'n was considerin' OKW 1BR, but then decided I might just do one trip, attempt a studio MK view at BLT 'n bank the rest of my points so I can get back to BCV for 2 stays in 2011.

I've heard the rooms at OKW are really nice 'n spacious. :goodvibes

I have to keep tellin' myself that since I bought BCV specifically for SAB. :sad1:

I think it will increase bookings at OKW. My DD is staying there this March with some of her friends. We own most of our points at BW, and I'm real glad we bought there! It's our favorite resort and I like the standard view points charts.

...or you could stay at AKV at a value studio for 9 points/night. We stayed at one on the Sunset Savanna and loved it. That way you would get your bed/couch arrangement. They are plenty roomy enough if you don't have to open the couch. I've only stayed at a 1-bedroom at OKW (loved it), so I can't say about the studios.

We have already decided to try OKW next year if we can get in. Otherwise, we might start staying in a studio from now on.
