Refillable Mug?

Okay if you buy a refillable mug at your resort, and you go to another resort can you refill your mug there? Is it the same mug at all the resorts?

I know there are many threads on this, my recollection is no. Your resort mug has your resort name on it and it is only refillable at your resort. If you stay at another resort you would have to buy their refillable mug.

A lot of what I've been reading says that they have changed the resort specific mugs to being one mug for all of WDW. Although, that being said, I think the consensus on these boards is that you should only use your mug at your resort. I could be wrong though!

i just asked a similar question on another thread and i was told that the mugs were universal throughout and that you could refill it at any resort...

technically you could use it at another resort (since they're all the same design), but that's not how you agree to use it when you purchase the mug.

Yeah, the "rules" for the refillable mug say that they are only to be used at the food court at your resort, and only for the length of your stay (they can't be brought back). With that said, if they continue with a universal design like they did for YOMD, it makes it really hard to police, and you can let your own moral compass be your guide.

They are universal mug designs BUT the purchase rules are that the mug is only good at your resort food court for the length of your stay only.
