Confetti

Hi all....it has been a while! I have a weird question, does anyone know where I could get Mickey or Disney confetti? I want to re-create the envelope from the commercial to give my sister a surprise trip...the confetti is the closest think I could get to the balloons... :)

I know I can count on my Disney lovers for the answers...

Maybe you could get a small mickey head hole punch and just punch them out yourself. Or you could make some small paper balloons and have them pop up like a pop up book when she opens the card. good luck and have fun

Check out Michaels or hobby lobby. They have just about everything else. One time found some stickers at the Dollar Tree that were about the size of a penny and were colored characters; but were outlined in silver. kinda sparkly like.

Thanks for all the great advice....I like the idea of actually making the 3-D card...I will keep you posted as to how that goes....

I did this for my daughter's wedding. I purchased a small mickey head paper punch at Michael's and some of their colored scrapbooking paper (in the colors that I needed) and punched away while watching tv. I had 15 tables that i wanted to sprinkle these on. Didn't take any time at all!

they sell mickey confetti in little bags in the photo shops at the parks.

A couple years ago I found some blue paper with the Mickey Balloons at one of the craft stores- We have JoAnn's, Micheal's, and AC Moore. I might even have some strips left over if you need it and can't find it.

i also bought the mickey head hole puncher-i was trying to make mickey confetti to put in the kids hair like they do in the magic kingdom barber shop. i couldnt find the thick shiny colored paper though for the hole punch. so, someone suggested the photo shops and thats where i found the confetti. i bought so many packets i'll look to see if i can find them, i'm guessing you need it before you go on the tip for the surprise.

Go on a Disney cruise and pick up all the Disney confetti off the floor at the "Now it's time to say good-bye" final show in the atrium. My two daughter have bags of it!!

I think they have it really cheap at OrientalTrading.com which is a party supply store. Just search for Disney when you get to the site. Also, if you decide to order from there, google coupon codes for them and snag a discount on shipping or your order.
