I started hearing about this a couple of days ago. I was going to wait until I went to convention in mid-February to buy a couple new lenses. But decided to make the purchases tonight instead. It's quite a significant increase!

My local camera store told me about this a few weeks ago. Nikon is not able to guarantee the prices of lenses the store has on order.

Ohhhh.....very nice! That is good. Those lenses are supposed to have a *significant* price increase. In fact, my local dealer said the 70-200 will likely be over $2,000! See how much money you saved!
