shopping in Nassau

How close is the shopping in Nassau from where the ship docks? We are thinking of doing the swimwith dolphins, but DW wants to get a little shopping done. Where is the Del Sol place located? :smooth:

Del Sol is only a few blocks from the dock, we are also planning to shop after the Dolphin experience/Blue Lagoon excursion on our cruise in June. Depending on the day of the week, I believe shops are open until around 5 or 6:00. I think I still have the shopping in the Bahamas pamphlet from our last cruise, I'll look for it and let you know. I love shopping in the Bahamas. Del Sol has neat stuff, we got a lot of gifts there. I bought the best Fossil sunglasses, a Movado watch, and a Kate Spade bag in Nassau. I am so looking forward to shopping there again!

Thanks for the quick info. I figure the dolphin swim will take up a lot of time with the the ferry ride and looking at photos/video afterword. I'm glad there are some close shops. Del Sol products will be something different to bring home.

I checked the shopping map, it said "most stores are open from 9-5 Monday-Saturday." Del Sol said to show your boarding pass or shoppping map for a free color changing ring and demonstration. (Guess I missed that last cruise!) The jewlery prices are great, even my 15 y.o. son enjoyed shopping. he bought a nice, thick silver chain for about $40, it still looks great, a year later.
